Happy Friday All,

I was listening to Sirius Radio and really liked this topic. They rated players by three classifications for a career of any player.

Ability: How talented is a player on a scale from 1-10.

Availability: How healthy is a player, how likely will they play on game day? Again on a scale of 1-10

Intangibility: How likely are they to make a big play in the game? Same scale on 1-10.

Examples:

Sean Lee: 9 Ability, 6 Availability, Intangibility: 8= 23 in my opinion.

Tony Romo: 9 Ability, 8 Availability, Intangibility: 9 = 26 in my opinion.

No one has to really defend their picks, but it would be interesting to see what people say about current non-rookies.

Tyron Smith: 9 Ability, 10 Availability, 9 Intangibility: = 28 in my opinion.

Overly simplistic and bad sports radio if this is the topic they ran during the offseason.

I can't stand sports talk radio.

I think that's fair. So at what point do we let him walk? If you aren't available, your ability doesn't matter.
This is probably it for Dunbar even if he stays healthy this season. The team will see if they can recreate what was started before last year's injury. If Zeke, Butler, Whitehead, or Jackson give you what you intended for Dunbar, no need to keep him.

Dan Bailey: Ability 9 Availability 10 Intangibles 9= 28

I would almost want to give him a 29, but saying his ability is a 10 as well. Over the years we have really done well with long snappers, kickers. The punters have been either really good or having most of us wanting a replacement, but nothing too bad.
