For all I know he may be right. Being at QB meetings is different than being around the locker room and social outings. The players may want Dak to remain at QB but you'll never hear it publicly.

Anybody who's ever played on a team knows the players are going to understand that both these dudes can play. Sure, they've all got opinions re: who should start, but they also know this ones a tough call and they can't really go wrong with either guy. It's not going to be a problem when Romo comes back.

I remember everyone making jokes about Rappoport last offseason when he called the Murray trade and was spot on during the whole process.

Not saying he is right in this case but it's not like it's a delusional thing to say when Romo hasn't been healthy since 2014 and half the team is now different.
