I heard today, sprained knee. That's usually a three week injury. Probably will be out for the game in Dallas October 19th. His backup 20/65 yds. Big drop off there.

Players seem to have remarkable healing powers of their injuries when it comes to playing us..quite a ways away yet.
I bet they say day to day...LOL

His back up is not a big drop off. He is a load and is a very punishing runner. Either way they have the Hawks to face before then and that will give you some real respresentation as Williams and Lynch have very similar running styles.

Theres also a significant chance that Calais Campbell (Arizona) will be out for week 8, that would be huge for us

I'd rather Jennings be playing than Andre Williams.

Id rather play Jennings than a full dose of Andre Williams.

Sounds like it doesn't matter who is in there, we just need to stop the run, play sound defense and HIT Eli hard and often...just like any other game...

I think his backup is at least as good as he is.
Not sure about the pass blocking though

But does his backup know all the assigmnments too. One would think he should, but maybe not. Or not as good at them.
How is he coming out of the backfield to catch, and like you said, pass blocking, picking up a blitz.

I have no idea, but it's what we question of why Randle over Williams as a back up RB.

That's all true.

Every time I've seen this kid run he looks like a real handful, but I really don't know about all of the other requirements to play the position. I do know that even before the injury, they were looing to increase his reps.

Andre Williams is a truck, but he doesn't catch well or pass protect. We definitely want him in there over Jennings.

Good. :)

To me the more important of the next two games is against the Giants.

If he can't play he can't play, only injuries I really have concern over is that on the Cowboys.
