Plays too upright and doesn't have enough long speed In the 3rd it wouldn't be a bad pick, but he's also very scheme specific. You certainly aren't going to put him on an island and ask him to cover quick WR's 1 on 1, he'd be toast. If we do end up playing a lot of zone he could be a good fit.

Tall receivers in the division could use some tall competition.

He's interesting. He's definitely better in a zone scheme, as of right now at least, which is kinda counter-intuitive to his size.

He's great at fighting for the ball, it's fun watching that. But he's not a very good tackler and his time at the Combine is pretty accurate of his game speed overall. I don't think he's a good enough athlete to play any kind of press bail successfully which i'd think is pretty much a necessity given his size, he might have played it in college successfully but unless you're bringing major pressure using him in a press bail, or even occasionally man, is probably going to require safety help over the top frequently.

I think there will be better players in the 3rd. He definitely has some tools, and i'd rather build around speed, but I think his value to us is the 4th and I doubt he's there.

I agree. I don't like him a whole lot to be honest. He's just tall.
