Before the last game, which might be meaningless or might be the most meaningful beyond their control, I'd like to see what Drew's rating is.

He's had a good season imo and with a little help from the oline he could have had a great season.

Agreed. A solid B, tho I won't vote that way on your poll since he did not 'win us a lot of games'.

8.5/10

I'd give him a 8.5 because, he has cost us a few games(SEA, OAK-Witten wide open), and he has made some great wins for us as well(CAR, KC, SF, SD, NYG, etc). He also led us to a very good season, most likely 10-6!!!!! He was consistent for the most part, but he had his off games, then again what QB doesnt!!!

Drew has played great this season, and im very suprised of how well he did. It gives us a great look down the road, since he has shown that he can make big plays!!!! With 3,000+ yds and more TD's than INT's, 86+ passer rating. With a healthy, improved o line next year, i expect him to have an even better season!!!!!

Drew Bledsoe

I'd give Drew a B+ based on what he's had to work with. If not for the offensive line problems he would easily be starting in the probowl. He's exceeded the expectations of most.

I was low on Drew but he has really surprised me this year...give the guy time, run your route and he gets the receiver. Good B.

a-

too extreme the variance between A and B

A borderline hall of Fame QB that elevated and helped the Dallas Cowboys be NFC Contenders in 2005. Exceeded expectations.

I think it's his second best season. That first year with Buffalo he was slinging it all over the field.

He also had two 4000 yard seasons in New England.

Our Line at times really slowed our offense down.

B

He has had some good games...and some bad games.

Overall...I would rate him as above average....which is not saying much in todays NFL.

With the OLine play, and only one fast receiver and no running game, I have to say he's done pretty well.

He has been a pleasant surprise IMHO. I support Drew Bledsoe regardless what fairweather fans think.

Question is....how does Bledsoe rate vs a healthy Troy Aikman ?

You might argue that Bledsoe was as good (or possibly) better than Aikman when both were in their prime. (Although I wouldn't)

But...the question is....how does the Bledsoe of today compare to Aikman in his prime.

The way the poll question is worded...there is a big chasm between options A and B...IMO

Aikmans accuracy was second to none in his prime. Plus, Aikman would read defenses really fast and make the throw extremely quick and accurate.

He was unstoppable in his prime.

I realized that after the poll. I'll run another one soon. At least we can feel safe about not providing D and F as options.

Agreed

I think Bledsoe is a rich mans Danny White.

But..I would take Aikman or Staubach any day over Danny White.

But...I would be happy with Danny White or Bledsoe.

Well Danny White threw a nicer looking pass than any of the others. Too bad pretty passes didn't win NFC Championship games.

actually....I think that Staubach threw the prettiest pass......but I'm a biased Staubach apologist.

Average. He certainly hasn't been spectacular, nor has he been bad. If I was looking at his performances without knowing which team he played for or his name I'd call it average.

I don't know... Staubach had zip on the ball but it always seemed like White had a lot of air under it and it just settled nicely right into Tony Hill's hands.

(Staubach was a better QB by far, just so you don't think I'm going there)
