Godzilla Minus One. Been meaning to watch on Netflix for a while.

Little slow at times but good watch. The way I prefer him - big, terrifying and doesn’t give a damn who he steps on.
The Ocean scenes were great!

I watched this today on MAX, or HBO MAX as it is called now. It is supposed to be a sci-fi comedy but I missed the comedy part. Goofy? Yes. What the heck did I just watch describes it better.

I didn't hate it. I didn't love it. I almost dozed off a couple of times. I may give it another shot and see if maybe I just wasn't in the mood for that type of movie.
I tried I fell asleep 4th of the movie. Probably need to watch it earlier then at night.
Not really worth a second watch.
Besides a few laughs, it is just not good.
It is not one I would watch again.

How could you not love it, they named the alien species after you.

Paramount+ has all of the previous MIs available to stream. I watched Dead Reckoning to get caught up.
I saw MI: The Final Reckoning in IMAX today. The popcorn from AMC was very average. A guy with Asian food breath was on my left, and a guy with his cell phone on vibrate was to my right.

Also, the guy on my left was wearing a watch on his right hand, that stayed luminous throughout the film.

My favorite action parts of the movie was the submarine, and mono-plane action, and the parts with Luther. Also, bringing back a MI character from the past was nice.

It's an Action Movie. There is Action. If you like that genre, then you should be pleased with this film.

Wouldn't you rather vibrate than it just ringing?

Been doing the Middle Earth films over the last couple weeks. Id rate them like this

Unexpected Journey: 8 of 10
Desolation of Smaug: 9 of 10( I feel its not given its due)
Battle of Five Armies: 8 of 10
Fellowship of the Ring: 10 of 10
Two Towers: 9 of 10
Return of the King: 10 of 10 (one of the greatest films of all time)

Im higher on the Hobbit films than most. Definitely not the LOTR trilogy, and I think the deviance from the source really put alot of people off. However Ive felt they have tied in well to the LOTR film trilogy, and thats what Jackson wanted. I think people forget or dont know after writing LOTR, Tolkien went back and changed the Hobbit, to tie it in. The 1st edition of The Hobbit had Smeogol give Bilbo a magic ring for winning the riddle contest. SN: Im considering purchasing a 1st Edition if a quality copy becomes available. They can be had in the low 5 figures, but could continue to rise

I used to go to the movies all the time, but people have ruined it. Too many self absorbed people on their phones or talking the whole time.

I agree. I understand why people complain about the Hobbit but I don't agree with it. I think it's great.

I think part of it is a purest thing. Or turning a 300 page book into nine hours of film. Mostly though I think it just suffers not being Lord of the Rings. It also doesn't really have those iconic moments the LOTR trilogy had

Well personally, I thought the barrels in the river sequence was way overdone, and Steven Frey's role as the Master of Lake Town didn't seem to fit the mood of the movie, IMO. I like Steven Frey, so I think it was more the character itself.

I feel the special effects were rushed and subpar. It’s tough to watch films made later that look much worse.

Captain America: Brave New World - Anthony Mackie can definitely carry a movie by himself, but not when it's written so badly. Almost everything was overdone.

I would have preferred that he took the serum over having a Wakanda made super suit.

Everything that sprung up as a result of The Incredible Hulk detracted from the story.

Am I the only one confused by the whole "adamantium" thing?

I kinda liked the woman who played the ex-Widow, but I don't think she was the best casting choice.

All in all, I give it a 5 out of 10.
