I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys/Eagles match up still gets higher ratings that the Colts/Pats game. I know we play on Sunday night and that is an advantage, but the Colts/Pats game has been hyped as the game of the century.

Not sure, but I'm slightly ticked off that we have a few games on NFL Network.

For those who don't have NFL Network, it stinks.

We have the time slot advantage but Nationally, Patsies and Colts will generate bigger interest due to both unbeaten and won SBs this decade so I think Colts and Patsies game will get higher ratings. I don't think too many AFC fans care too much about Cowboys vs Eagles.

I love it myself. I don't have the NFL Network, but I can easily go to a friends house with dish and watch. I'm just tired of watching the disgusting NFC North week in and week out and Dallas games getting switched to 3 so I get the Bears instead of Dallas. PUKE

It will be interesting to see how close the ratings are for those 2 games.

It is a Sunday Night game so I'm sure the numbers will be close or better than the Colts/Pats game

I hope Jerry gets the cable companies on board with the NFL network and without charging extra for it. While a couple of bucks isn't a big deal, I don't think they should be charging extra since I'm already paying for 135 channels of garbage I never watch.

sopcast > NFL Network

I bet this weekend's ratings will be close, but I'll guarantee the Boys/Pats ratings will outdraw the Colts/Pats.

Pats/Colts will be higher than Cowboys/Eagles.

I also think Pats/Colts will be higher than Cowboys/Pats, but it will be close.

NEW YORK (AP) -- The much-anticipated game between the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts earned the highest overnight rating for a Sunday afternoon regular-season game in at least 20 years.
The matchup of two undefeated teams drew a 22.5 rating and 39 share on CBS in the nation's largest markets. That is the highest overnight rating since 1987, which is as far back as the network's records go.
The previous high was a 22.2/41 for Dallas-San Francisco on Nov. 10, 1996, a meeting of the winners of the previous four Super Bowls. The Cowboys won 20-17 in overtime.
The Patriots' come-from-behind 24-20 victory attracted higher ratings than all four of last season's NFL divisional playoff games.
The game drew a 45.9/65 in Indianapolis and a 38.7/63 in Boston.
No idea what the ratings of Cowboys/Eagles was, but obviously it didn't match Pats/Colts.

I think I heard on the ticket that the Cowboys Eagles game got a rating somewhere in the 8s. It was behind the big primetime TV shows. It didn't rate well at all.

That's usually the case with a blowout.

That's what I figured. Who was watching after the 3rd qtr? Only Cowboys fans, which gets us an 8 share by itself.

nope, the Colts-Patriots was the highest rated afternoon game in 20 years

could you imagine if the the colts vs pats and our game vs the pats were switched were we would have played them yesterday, and the colts played them week 6 the rating probably would have been tripled what the colts gave them.

Maybe it was the NBC "turn out the lights" pre-game stunt...........I'm sure they picked this game to max out the viewers in going after the "green" message.......

heck with the way the Iggles season is going, they outghta' just shut r' down for the rest of year and save a few million tons of hot air and carbon for everyone else.....:D

Color me surprised. I didn't think the Colts could draw as many people as we did.

Their records didn't hurt. 8-0 and 7-0 is a little more rare than two 5-0's.
