Since J Rat has been wearing down in the latter part of the last 2 seasons, will it be a blessing in disguise that he will be playing his 1st game of the year in week 6?

Definitely. He's a good football player and will help our lack of pass rush. Excited to get the big fella back.

I'm anxious to have him back so but he won't help our biggest weakness I agree.

No, but he will help our second biggest weakness on the defensive line. Let's face it guys the offensive line isn't getting any better. These guys outside of Smith just aren't good football players. We're just gonna have to hope we can somehow win a Super Bowl with one of the most inept and inconpatent offensive lines in recent memory.

Jay fires people up in the huddle. It's good to have him back.

I was a little perplexed when I saw Matt Forte play against us....2 weeks after his high ankle sprain

But Rattlif has been out since the end of the pre-season.

All sprains are equal I take it. Thanks Doc.

AND OUR KARMA demands that our high ankle sprains ALWAYS take longer to heal.

I think JRat is not 100% the player he used to be, but he will add a much needed boost to our DL. He can still play at a high level.

i think what everyone here is trying to say is we'll take whatever we can get at this point.

Welcome back. Can only be positive. In the one game he played in the preseason he looked like his monster self. Now go eat Flacco!

You speak of the Super Bowl as though it's a foregone conclusion. I haven't been on here in a while, so did I miss something?

From my view, will be lucky to actually make the play offs.

Your fantasies are always so funny.

No, you didn't miss anything. SB is the mission of every team in the league including ours. The kid said it right, SB. Your view, I doubt very much, is the Cowboys view.

We have good depth at NT behind J-Rat but its good to have him back.

Where we sorely have no depth is at OLB which was evident against Chicago; with Spencer out the Bears doubled Ware and neutralized our pass rush.

With Spencer and Ratliff back this pass rush will be fearsome.

Whats funny is you act like the Chicago game is the only game Ware got doubled due to Spencer not being on the field LoL. News Flash Ware gets doubled every game and Spencer doesn't make the other team pay a high % of the time. The Monday night game was no different then any game this year that Spencer didn't record a sack in or last year in any game Spencer didn't record a sack in. The difference in this last game is that somehow Ryan let Sensy cover Marshall one on one far too often stopped playing press man and went to more zone.

And you seen he went out the first play to get it re-taped. Maybe his next game he won't be so lucky and re-injures it from attempting to come back too soon. Maybe he it will bother him all year, maybe not.

But Ratliff's could and should be completely healed. And back to his normal OL destructing self.
