I think the injury to the Eagles center this past week could be a huge positive for us. He has been the starter there for a while. Ratliff is dominant anyway, and now, a new center has to worry about making the right calls, getting the football safely back to McKnee and dealin' with Big Jay. This was a big injury for them. Also, not sure if anyone saw McHamstring pull up when he scrambled on the 3rd down and 23 play, but he definately looked like he "tweaked" his hammy.

Yeah...it should be a feast for Ware, Ratliff, and Spencer. I say should, because with an NFC East opponent you never know.

There's no doubt about it and the Eagles know it too. The Eagles will have trouble with our pass rush anyway. We will be on McNabbs arse all day long..

i recall say this years ago when Jamaal Jackson replaced Hank Fraley, and Jackson kept our DTs quiet all game

He dominated Glover that game. It was quite surprising for a 1st year undrafted FA C completely nullify our Pro Bowl DT all game.

That was the 2005 MNF game at the Linc, correct? The game Dallas cameback from down 20-7 in the 4th, when Roy L. Williams intercepted McNabb for the pick 6 to give us the lead and win?

I feel very confident Dallas will get pressure on McNabb regardless of Jackson being out or not. Ratliff is a very powerful and quick off the snap coming up the middle and now with Spencer picking up the pace along with Ware I like our chances of putting McNabb on his butt and creating turnovers.

...the Eagles got a big boost with the return of Westbrook.

If he is healthy he will challenge our LBs and provide McNabb with a quick outlet.

Must play the screen to Westbrook and McCOY. However, I think that the key is how long our backs have to cover Macklin and Jackson. If we get pressure and they only have to cover 3-4 seconds it wil be a W. If they have to cover longer they have shown that they can hit the big play often. Maybe McNabb's hammy will be tender and wont be able to move in the pocket.

Don't forget Brooking, they love blitzing him up the middle. They need to go up the middle early and often.

The is a NFC East rival so they'll be ready... Jay Ratliff doesn't need any extra motivation I'm sure, he'll be awaiting the showdown with McFlabb.

Hopefully we'll keep Westbrook in check. *crosses fingers*

Actually the key is varying the middle pressure.

Diiferent guys in different gaps.

Line slants an stunts to different gaps.

Confusion will kill any protection.

I want Ware with 2 sacks, Spencer with a sack and Ratliff with 2.

Anymore is extra.

can one of those sacks please lead to a fumble by McNabb? :D

We'll need it. Sending more than 4 and the occasional 5 is a superb way to get run over by the Eagles.

The interior 3 and their backups have been the real stars the last few games. Ratliff, Olshansky and Spears really seem to have found their stride collapsing the pocket. I think that right side took a while to gel, but have they ever - they've shown a great sense of awareness of the moves the others are using, where they stand relative to their own gaps, how they're pushing their own guy, if one of their neighbors is getting pushed out of assignment.

If they keep that up and we can rush 4, the defensive side of the ball should be pretty well in hand.

That would be great. We have to limit the time McKnee has back there to throw. You can't ask our backs to cover their WR's for very long.
