Ravens cut 2 G/Ts

Ravens cut G/Ts Ramon Harewood(26 yo) & Jack Cornell(24 yo) 8/25. Harewood at one time was starting LG and I know he had some type injury before. Best I could tell about Cornell is he had been on PS last couple of years--RKG out of Illinois. Possible good chance for Boys to do a look see on one or both since this is last week of TC. I like that both of them are listed as GT combo. Bring them in tomorrow Jerry and give them an audition and if you like keep around if not send them on their way--very little lost.

EDIT: btw, you just know we actually are going to churn the bottom of our roster for OLs here during cutdowns. I love that we do that, and that we've had real luck adding depth going that route the last few years.

That's a good point, actually. Arkin and Kowalski and then we're playing OTs like Coughman out of position. I'm sure we'll pick up a player or two here as the cutdowns start once the guys we have our eyes on get dropped. Do we have any roster spots available right now, anybody know off-hand?

I read a tweet by Archer (I think), where he said we were officially moving Crawford to IR, and with that, we had to cut 12 more to get to 75 by Tuesday. So for the moment, it looks like there are three spots. Of course, if we did bring someone in, we'd have to make a decision on them really quick.

Ok. Yeah, that's the last I'd heard, but I couldn't remember if that was before bringing in Vega and whoever this week, or not. I still think the way we handle the roster we're keeping 2 slots or so open for juggling throughout the season. I think Garrett likes the fire that lights on the bottom-roster guys, and it's a good way to churn more and maybe find a gem here and there.
