Ravens @ Pats Game Thread - FINAL

The pats need a first down here cause they could be in trouble giving it back to ravens....huge play coming up

That was an awful call and pretty predictable. Playing for a 48 yard FG and dont even get that. Even with Flacco as a QB I hate that call. Kind of reminded me of a few of the ones JG has made.

I agree. On the third down, the Ravens should have rolled Flacco out of the pocket, giving him a pass-run option.

Instead, you do a delayed draw with Wilfolk pushing the pocket as well as he is.

The Ravens gave this game away. They relied on too many field goals against a team with Brady as its quarterback. You can't do that.

You only punt in week 9 of a NFL season. not the AFC championship game

Bull stuff. If they could've made that FG with some degree of certainty they would have gone for it. Obviously the ST coach told them he wasn't a high percentage from 50 out. They either punt or hope they convert 4th and 6 which isn't great odds.

Amen. Not going for it on 4th-and-1 early forced them to go for it on 4th-and-6 late.

Nice. They get the ball back and kept both their time outs.

Ed Reed...what a play. Even something as basic as that stands out because no way our safeties are even in position to do that. They'd panic as soon as the WR started to cut.

What game are you watching. The Ravens have only attempted two FG's and just went for it on 4th down and the Pats have 23 points.

But at that point in the game you can think FG, only TD which is why they went foir it on 4th and 6

We have a Romo hater on board.
I hate not going to the Super Bowl or even something as small as being a perennial play off QB who wins in the play offs consistently. I don't hate the person, I hate the game.
