Those were the days. I don't think we will see that anytime soon, sad to say. :(

I don't mean to turn this thread into a three-hour lament. :)

I was just sharing a recollection. In some ways, watching the Cowboys run on to their homefield before the NFC Championship game felt more epic than even watching them take the field for the Super Bowl.

Of course, the caliber of competition may have had something to do with that feeling. Back then, the NFC Championship game was regarded as the real Super Bowl.

Glad I got to see it. Hope to see it again soon.

So where is Andre Gurode, I was assured that he was a better player than Costa/Kowalski but yet he is not even a starter in Baltimore?

Sizzle.

And for the record an ELITE QB missed a wide open throw to Gronkowski for 6.

So funny.

Quarterbacks waiting waiting waiting, you have 2 maybe 3 seconds to either make up your mind, get out of the pocket or throw it away, without a grounding penalty.

stupid punt returner goes backwards when he caught the ball at midfield. he should be benched the rest of the day

The Baltimore OL is getting manhandled singlehandedly by Wilfork. That is one BAMF NT.

Wilfork is killing this line right now.
Trying to single block a guy that out weighs you by 40 lbs is not wise.

he has no time, how can he throw if he is laying on the ground?
2 to 3 seconds is a lifetime in the NFL. And he had that. Brady, just threw the ball in 1.6 seconds.

The Pats D is not playing like the leagues worst defense right now. They look good.

He just threw the ball in 2 seconds, but in to double coverage. EDIT: Not double coverage, but he under threw it.
