Ravens @ Pats Game Thread - FINAL

I think some sorry Patriots team is trotting out a 6th round pick at QB in the Super Bowl. Again.

Clearly, they didn't get your memo.
Was he undrafted? And you can argue all you want. Your boy doesn't have what it takes. I'll take an undrafted FA, but let him get me some play off victories at least. You guys are fighting a losing battle, until your boy wins, which he never will, your arguments are all dumb

I'd rather do this in person, I'm sick of this Romo is ELITE nonsense.

Well there's only about 3 or 4 elite qb's in this league. Romo is right under them which there is nothing wrong with that. But he's not the reason for the Cowboys failures.

My Child Terrell Suggs:
I see how you have insulted me and you brother Timothy.
In want you to know that I am not only in the sidelines,I am everywhere.
Easy kick,huh?...32 yarder, wide left..wanna guess who blocked it?

Regards,

The Almighty.

Thing is, things don't have to be black and white. He doesn't have to be elite and he doesn't have to be terrible.

However, he's not the main problem with this team. This team has many issues and I wouldn't think much of your issues with Romo if it appeared you could identify all the other problems.

Oh, I'm pretty sure there's some of us you wouldn't rather do this in person with.

He's like 8'9", 535 pounds of solid muscle. With like 18 degrees of black belts.

Let's do this pimp. Let's make it happen.

We say that the GM has been here all these years without Super Bowls, and now Romo's been here 9 years, played for 6 years. Can we atleast be competitive?

Guess I'll head over to the Giants thread to watch a real QB play, yeah ELI.

hey Judas the Wrong, do you realize that everyone is laughing AT you?

Your posts have become a kind of diagnosis for someone desperate for attention and with room temperature IQ.

The last five games of the season..... he had 10 TDs; 1 INT.

Now... unless you expect him to also provide a pass rush, cover WRs, and convert water into wine.... then I think the problems probably where elsewhere.

Please do so. And please stay there.

Name the undrafted QBs who have won a Super Bowl, and then name the number 1 picks who have won, then get back to me. It's like arguing with a fork, nothing gets through.

Undrafted (I'm treating 8th round of later as UD, since the draft is seven rounds today) QBs who were good enough to make as many Pro Bowls as Romo:

Tony Romo - 0 Super Bowl Wins
Warren Moon - 0 Super Bowl Wins
Dave Krieg - 0 Super Bowl Wins
Jim Hart - 0 Super Bowl Wins
Jeff Garcia - 0 Super Bowl Wins
Daryle Lamonica - 0 Super Bowl Wins
Johnny Unitas - 1 Super Bowl Win
Kurt Warner - 1 Super Bowl Win
Bart Starr - 2 Super Bowl Wins
Roger Staubach - 2 Super Bowl Wins

So, 40% got at least one win, and they average 0.8 wins apiece.

1st Round QBs, since 1966:

Total 117
Total Super Bowl Wins: 27 (by 18 different players)
Average: 0.23 Super Bowl wins each
15% won at least one Super Bowl

So, history says that we are at least twice as well off with an undrafted QB as proven as Romo than with a shiny new 1st rounder, and probably more like three times.

The lesson here, kids, is that if you don't do your research before spouting off, your opinion probably won't be worth the 1s and 0s it's printed on.

Yea, why don't you do that. This thread has lost a large quantity of it's I.Q. with your posts. Go and dumb down the Vagiant's board. Your ID is so very fitting.

You overstated his iq.

Unless you are located in the Antarctic.

The rules confound me if that was a rb reaching across the goal line & the ball gets swiped, its still a TD

:bang2:

Because ball possession is not an issue when a running back has the ball crossing the goal line. It only becomes an issue if he's fumbling the ball as he's going across the end zone line.

With a receiver, he has to possess the ball since he didn't start out with the ball in his hands.

He Buma, I'm laughing at you and how sorry you are at football knowledge. I don't care about attention, never have. I want a new QB, point blank. I want a winner, but I guess if you represent the average cowboy fan base, then you like losing. No surprise there.
