Curious about this game on two fronts. One, being from Cincy all my buddies are Bengals fans, so I get to chide in on their ways. I love it when they start talking crap. I generally respond with the common 5 Lombardi's and ask if the Bengals even own a trophy case. But the real reason I want to watch this game is to check out the Ravens defense. I was really hoping Jerry would give Ryan a shot at the HC position, but I knew full well he wouldn't with the Buddy Ryan connection, and I can't say I blame him.

While watching, I didn't realize the Bengals actually kept Skylar Green to return punts.

LOL, pretty weak celebration, but I'll take 85 in blue any day.

I love Romo, but man is Carson Palmer good.

Palmer's the best pure passer in the league, hands down

It's scary how similar he is to Aikman...same type of build, similar looks with the helmet on, tremendous accuracy and great arm strength...similar throwing mechanics...its almost like Troy was cloned

He looks an awful lot like early Romo from yesterday. I mean, all he's done so far is sail passes on his receivers and chuck one up when he saw that Johnson was in single coverage against Landry.

That's not bashing him, just talking about this game. He's Aikman reincarnate, on a team that lets him turn it loose. :p:

I wouldn't say that was a "chuck". Looked like a pretty pass to me.

the Ravens have 2 guys on offense I really liked from the past 2 drafts

speedster WR Demetrius Williams ('06) and starting at RT, since RT Adam Terry was moved to LT since Jonathan Ogden just took himself out of the game, rookie Marshal Yanda out of Iowa, he played OG for most of his time at Iowa, but as you can see is versatile enough to play OT

edit: almost forgot, Ogden, you better call Gebco

DC/Maryland residents know what I'm talking about

Holy Hannah, Batman! A Skyler Green sighting....or hearing at least. I guess he's with the Bengals. He actually looked a lot quicker than I remember. Decent returner.

I have to say that Jaws is a HUGE upgrade over Theisman, but the other two are still horrible. It's totally beyond me why ESPN feels that people want to listen to Tony Kornhole read his notes and quotes during a football game. Give me Brent Musberger and Dan Fouts.

That little girl was awesome.

Musa Smith is better than McGahee. This will come as a shock to all those McGahee lovers that wanted to talk about how much more talented he is than our backs.
