After all, who in the world would have the nerve to cut the kid brother of Ray Lewis?

For fear of what? Getting knifed?

But I don't know, word in Baltimore is that lil RayRay is a tad upset that Cam took his three lockers down to one like everyone else. I actually heard a sports caster make reference that he shouldn't have done that because RayRay is to the Ravens what Michael Jordan was to the Bulls and what Bonds was to the Giants... Hmm, maybe it's so..

never mind the fact that Lewis himself now belongs on any list of overrated players...he's been no better than average the past 2-3 yrs now

he'll also be 33yrs old in a couple weeks

I'm not sure why anybody would even be remotely excited by this prospect. All it would mean is that James, Burnett, and Carpenter were not able to combine to be better than a 33 year old average linebacker.

RAY’S BROTHER IS A COWBOY

Though it was reported a couple of days ago, the Dallas Cowboys have officially announced the signing of Maryland running back Keon Lattimore to a free-agent deal.
Lattimore is one of 14 undrafted players to sign with the Cowboys. But he’s the only one who has a brother named Ray Lewis.
And we can’t help but wonder whether owner Jerry Jones is thinking ahead on this one. With Zach Thomas signed to a four-year deal that is, in reality, a one-year arrangement, could Jones be thinking about trying to lure Lewis to Dallas after his contract with the Ravens expires after the 2008 season?
It’s wild speculation (as if admitting it makes it any better), but Jones seems to be intent on doing all he can to build a team that will be able to properly christen the team’s new $1 billion stadium, which is set to open, coincidentally, in 2009. Surely, the possibility of reuniting Lattimore and Lewis when the Cowboys take the field there has crossed the owner’s mind.
First, Lattimore has to make the team. But we have a feeling that he will. After all, who in the world would have the nerve to cut the kid brother of Ray Lewis?

If there were a Pandora's box of stupidity, Mike Florio would be its contents.

Now, if Randy Moss' sister shows up at training camp at Free Safety, this guy might be onto something.

One grandpa at LB is enough.

I live in the Baltimore area and I've seen a lot of Ray Lewis both live at the games and on TV. I can't say the man is washed up, but he has gone from being a monster to being ordinary. Plus he is kind of a prima donna since for years he could do whatever he wanted with the Ravens. So I say, stay far away from him.
