49ers will have McDonald for the big game in Dallas. Harbough just announced it. Maybe the niners know something about the domestic violence charge.

And Jonathan Martin will start at right tackle.

Jonathan Martin starting at RT is bigger news IMO and gives Dallas another opportunity.

If one our players were facing these charges I'm sure most of us would be screaming the due process excuse to get all of our players on the field for the opener.

Well the legal system allows for this. First you get arrested, then you have to wait to see if you're going to be charged. It's a "process." Cowboys fans know all about this.

I expected nothing less really.
Even if the NFL levied a suspension at this point (which would be ridiculous, but this IS the NFL...) he would appeal it and still be playing Week 1.

I expected him to play all along. There really wasn't ever any reason to think otherwise.

I felt the 49ers would take a hard stance by sitting him out with the latest news. So even though you tell me there is no reason to think that I did. I even had a V8 today. Go figure.

It sounds like there are rumblings to suggest the charge is largely bogus, anyway. Not that I've paid attention to the details.

Soooooo he will play and Scandrick is out with his suspension? Seems legit.

No there wasn't. I don't think any player has ever been suspended just a week after accusation.

Maybe Hernandez?

I think Hernandez was released by the Pats quickly, I'm not sure if the NFL ever really suspended him.

Harbaugh says that the Niners have zero tolerance in cases involving domestic abuse, yet McDonald still plays. Go figure.

I think Harbaugh's hypocrisy is showing.
