Well that is not good...

Hopefully this does not have a negative impact on Dez...

what:eek:
did he feel disrespected by the interview. Or is he moving up his job title on another team:confused:

The only coach I mostly wanted to keep and he might be the only one leaving:banghead:

@calvinwatkins Ray Sherman will not return as #Cowboys WR coach. ◄ nice job Calvin...makes me feel better.

Well it was great while it lasted.

We might've lost our best coach.

wow. Bit suprising. I thought there was chance Garrett would name him OC while garrett still called the plays. Curious if it was Ray who wanted out or Garrett wanting to go in new direction.

Wow, I am really shocked by that. One coach I surely wanted back was Ray SHerman. But seems like Sherman never stuck around any team for 3-4 years anyway.

Not sure why he does that, but seems like he doesn't like to stick around too many years with one team. I thought it would be different with Cowboys, but I guess I was wrong.

He took the sham interview to heart!!!!

Lol

Probably makes sense for him. If Garrett wasn't going to give up playcalling duties, he has no room for advancement here.

His contract had expired. The only question is whether the Cowboys extended him an offer to return or not.

kind of doubt it. Someone probably offered him a real OC job which he would not have had here; he would have been mostly a paper OC here. Red Ball is going to be like Wade was - both HC and a Coordinator as well

Sherman was one of four assistant coaches whose contracts expired shortly after the 2010 season. He had been with the Cowboys since 2007 when he was hired by then-coach Wade Phillips.
