Grinding is a young person's word? LMAO.

I've heard people saying they're grinding, back to the grind, and all that for work, working out, and everything since I was a kid. I'm in my 30's now so this is hardly some new age term that the young ground suddenly thought of.

Whats next? Clanging and banging going to be thought of as some new phrase as well?

lol
I don't think the people asking are in their 30s.

I think the fact that you think being in your 30's makes you old and wizened is pretty hilarious. :laugh2:

Yeah cuz I'm in my 30s and I refuse to claim old. I like to think of myself as seasoned.

lol

If being in your 30's makes you seasoned, I guess I'm fully baked and approaching overdone . . . :laugh2:

Holy crap, that was my exact thought too.

Mike Sherrard, what could have been with him and Irvin.

I'm sure we would not have drafted Irvin if Sherrard hadn't gotten injured. We probably would have drafted LB Clifford Charlton instead. Sherrard's injury my have been a blessing in disguise.

Like a fine wine ? Better with age .
I think I am getting overseasoned . I hit 45 today . I guess getting old is better than the other option .

If Sherrard doesn't break his leg in 1987 or later re-break his leg running on the beach, there is a chance Dallas doesn't pursue drafting Irvin or end up with the #11 pick with a chance to get Irvin. I agree that a fully healthy Sherrard and Irvin would have made for a dynamic pair of receivers.

Happy bday maaaayne!

I don't think you guys realize how high they had Irvin on their board. They were definitely taking Irvin.

I'm 37.

What confused me is I didn't think you could jump right back into rehab the day after surgery. But what the heck do I know?

Does anybody know what was wrong with Mike Sherrard? The guy suffered an incredible high amount of leg fractures. I wonder if he had a degenerative bone disease?

I'm with you . Seems like a very short time before starting his rehab . It doesn't sound right , but I'm no doctor and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn last night .

I broke my left arm humerus bone in half right below the ball that goes into the shoulder socket. It was major surgery to have an metal rod inserted all the way down from my should socket almost to my elbow. I had to have that rod in there for 6 months. (as a matter of fact, Charlie Waters broke his in almost the same place).

Anyway, after 6 months or so, I went in to get the rod taken out of my arm and all the doc had to do is make a small incision about this long "--------" on top of my shoulder and just pull the rod out. After about 6 stitches or so...I was good to go.

So, saying that, making some really tiny cuts to take out some screws would be no big deal...it's not like you have to be put under even. it probably took 1/2 hour.
