Jerry could have kept Dowdle for just a little bit more than he spent on the 2 JAG's he brought in.

Dowdle and Blue would have been a nice one-two punch.

I just don't understand why they wouldn't have kept Dowdle.

It goes against the "we like our guys" mentality. Makes me wonder if they low balled him & he rightfully told them "No, I deserve to get paid."

Only way we keep Deuce now is two fold. Injury at the position or special teams. If Sanders gets hurt, THEN maybe Deuce sticks around. Mighty mouse better prove himself. Under MM, he never really got a fighting chance. He never wanted him. Mike was loyal to a fault, with Zeke and Pollard.

Javonte Williams will be running back 1 plus he will be another year removed from the knee injury. Mafa will get plenty of snaps in the preseason.
