Cardinals released RB Beanie Wells.

Any chance Jerry has interest? He's still only 24.

We need someone durable behind Murray, and that isn't Beanie Wells. He has shown flashes over his first few years but not enough to merit a look at him.

pass, not only is he injury prone, but he's inconsistent. Not what you need behind DeMarco.

4.0 career average. Behind our ol, I'm guessing not much better.

Well, I agree that he has been injured often in his career. However, on the other hand, in 2011, he did play in 14 games and rush for 1047 with a 4.3 YPC average and 10 TDs. He also has experience in a zone blocking, cut back scheme.

Doesn't merit a look?? Of course he is, he is injury prone but as aforementioned has had some success in a zone blocking scheme..he also has rushed for a thousand yards at least once in his career I believe. Not saying he's better, but you do realize no back on our roster has done this...

This is quite a coincidence, because I also just released some beans. It didn't go so well, though. I, also, did not want to take a look.

As much as I am an Ohio State fan, and would have loved if Dallas would have drafted him at the time. But now, I think I would say pass. We do need a back up for Murray, and someone to step in and maybe even take over for when Murray gets injured again. But not one injured RB or another.

Now maybe if he comes cheap enough to compete for a #3 and shows he can stay healthy to move up to #2 or more, yes, which we know won't happen, so pass for now.

Exactly!

If we think our situation here for DeMarco Murray is tough then take a look at Well's situation in Arizona.

Even worse o-line and possibly the worst QB situation in the league.

He's someone we should at least look at.

Regardless of being injured he can carry the ball 25+ times a game, 8 games a season.

Anybody who could stay healthy for a whole season and carry the ball at an avg of 4.0 yards a carry would end up taking Demarco's job from him.

Just because DeMarco will get hurt and the consitency factor of the other player after starting would kick in.

Yes, but did your beans rush for a thousand yards or did they just rush from the living room to the throne room?

Thank you for replying to that. I was sitting here, feeling like an idiot. :)

price, he'd be a great short yardage/goal line type back. I think he'd be a good compliment to Murray.

and yes, both are injury prone, I know.

i say sign up everyone, everyone NOT signed right now is better than what we have signed.

there now we can save save save and win win win.

Its either that or every FA agent out there is on this site and just wanting attention for their client.
