Huh? We talking about the same player? He has excellent vision.

He's fine when the blocking is perfect. When it's not he has poor vision and takes bad TFL. There are guys that always seem to fall forward and then there is the back that played for ND last year.

He also has DMC/Hambrick disease.

Prosise was raised 20 miles from my house. The whole family has great athletes. Think about how tough it was for him. He moved from WR to RB1 for a top 10 team and excelled. Pretty much with little notice. Upside is ++++

Being a ND grad and having seen every minute of every game, you are not exactly accurate on Prosise. He has pretty good vision and balance. But he's raw. He's played TB for only one year but the fact he did what he did is pretty impressive.

I wouldn't take him before the 3rd or 4th round though. He needs some polish but his instincts for being a first time TB at a major Div 1 program were pretty impressive.

I love reading these threads this time of the year.
I am not interested in any Running back that has the potential upside of becoming Gio Bernard, Shane Vareen, or any 2nd tier so what player. Its hard to get excited when people have a players as "hopefully" becoming almost good enough to start if you don't value the position....no thanks....

Show me the player who has the potential to be the next Adrian Peterson or Marshawn Lynch.

Dumb logic.

He's a 2nd-3rd round projected player. Not a first rounder, with Peterson and Lynch were. So, what do you want, to completely skip on every RB prospect...because they aren't the talent level of a future HOF and one of the most elusive RBs in NFL history? Give me a break.

"Gio Bernard" is not three down RB, Prosise has the ability to be one. "Raw" yes, but again, he's projected out of the first round because of this but has high upside.

And I love this time of year when everyone thinks every player we pick up in FA and every player we pick has to be a sure fire future All Pro.

You know, you need backups and role players too. You can't have a hall of famer at every position and also backing up other hall of famers.

I believe a 2nd round player should have a higher ceiling than Shane Vareen.
Dumb logic is pretending we are good enough to spend a 2nd round pick on a player that has an average upside. A 2nd round pick should be a player that can come in and start.

You obviously missed the point completely...I didn't say you are drafting Peterson or Lynch in the 2nd round...what I am saying is that if a player is "raw" then he needs to be a very late player OR have a high upside. Overdrafting a "raw" player in the 2nd round who when polished may be as good as a 2nd round player is dumb logic.

Sure we need backups...at RB that's all we have. How about we add another potential backup to our starting backup.

Who said he has a ceiling of just Shane Vereen?

And I didn't miss the point, you said

You are looking for a freakin' HOF RB. Sorry, those don't come out every year. This isn't a "Raw" CB, it's a "Raw" RB, it doesn't take years to transition. Just stop, the scouts have him ranked as a second or third rounder for good reason.

Read the entire thread. I didn't just pull Shane Vareen out of my butt.

And yes I said "Potential". Potential to be a pro bowl caliber RB. Players mentioned as a possible upside potential have been 2nd tier backs.

Where some scouts have him slotted holds no relevance. If you want to spend a 2nd rounder on a RB then this back needs to be ready this year to be an immediate upgrade over McFadden. Not a project that could someday be as good as Shane Vareen.

Tiny hands lead to a lot of fumbles for Prosise. He fumbled every 45 touches in college, that's a quick way out of a job in the NFL.

He's definitely intriguing tho. If he can clean up the fumbles and learn to run with a lower center of gravity I agree he could be good. Shane Vereen is an obvious comp that I think he could reach.

Those tiny hands again strike again...

Holds a ton of relevance, how about you read up on what they have to say rather than a throwaway comment of a poor comparison in this thread?
