RB Hardy elevated from practice squad

Throw the ball, throw the ball, throw the ball. Early downs and often. Stop running into bricks on 1st and 10 or 2nd and 10. THROW THE BALL.

The need to draft a RB goes up by the week. We have no one outside Pollard who can run the ball. Our $90mill RB is a paperweight.

What? Draft a running back? Don't you know, as we've all been told by several "experts" on this site that running backs are a "dime a dozen"?

Drop by any small college campus and pick up a guy on some recreational league and he'll get you 1,500 yards and 15 tds a year.

Sheesh, how dumb are you?

;)

Where's Ito Smith?
Probably still getting familiar with assignments and stuff. He’s not really a between the tackles guy so he’d be a change of pace receiving back, which is traditionally a 3rd down role. If so he’s gotta be able to know his pass pro assignments and adjustments at the line.

I assume he’s mentally ready by next week but the teams familiarity with Hardy may relegate him to an emergency role.

I played against IronHead in HS. Talk about a man among boys. He rushed for over 200 yards against us. I made plenty of business decisions that game.

Need to give these RBs some experience because we may have to count on one of them in the playoffs assuming we make them.

Yeah I think he'd be ideal to let TP rest. In fact Clements and Ito could potentially buy both Zeke and TP some much needed rest. I hope that's the plan. This staff has been very cautious with injuries I expect they do the same with our rbs.

I'd rather go younger than that.
