RB Jaydon Blue runs eye-popping 40-yard dash times at Texas Pro Day

Achane was a third rounder and this is a deeper class. If somebody drafts him round 2 so be it. Not the end of the world
Great point. As much as I love Achane, this guy is much more complete. Runs receiver routes, has great hands, knows how to get position to body a guy ,box them out. It's beautiful to watch. Then you can line him up in the backfield and run him 20 times a game with no problem. Special teams guy too. Kick returner. It forces the hand of the other team to account for him at all times. Your getting an elite player that is barely scratched the surface of what he can be.

Come on now

I like Jaydon but CJ ran a 4.24 at the combine...and he played that fast
These two players aren't close to the same
Chris was a smaller framed guy. Your right in that sense. But both have very similar attributes that are unique for a RB in the NFL. You don't see a player this versatile very often at the position.

The smaller type backs have an advantage. They can avoid getting the full force of a hit, and they can hide . His size is an advantage. It's not like he's Deuce Vaughn size. Lol. He's built kinda thick this kid. I've seen him administer some guys if his own, punishing tacklers

Hits of not guys

At 195 lbs he is NOT a between tackle guy. At least not and survive long.

First and third down maybe; depending on the situation second and third down back.

Question is, does he PLAY this fast?
He can do everything just fine. But I tend to agree that you don't really want him in there full time. Have him on a pitch count. Have a thumper RB that can be the hammer to help him out on short yardage.

I think Chris Johnson was around 175-185 soaking wet btw. Just imagine this kid on a pro team. He's not going to hurt you or be a project. He's ready made for this.

The lightest he played was around 190. So I am wrong on the weight. I recall the announcers always talking about his size and the pounding he takes between the tackles being a concern. Guess it really never affected him much. He was a house call waiting to happen. Blue is much the same and could have a big affect on a team.
