Top 5s on that list
Lewis
LT
Brown
Benson
Cad Williams
Bush
Richardson

Except for LT, it could be argued that none were worth a top 5 pick.

If there was ever a position that you really should never need to use a top 5 pick on, it's RB...uh, and center...and kicker. :D

Jamal Lewis definitely was worth it.

Lewis, Tomlinson an AP were worth the #1 overall slot. The rest were not worth a top 5 pick. (Too early to tell on Gurley).

Thomas Jones somehow got WAY better as his career went on. Pretty rare for a running back.

Arizona was to HBs back then what Cleveland is to QBs now. Garrison Hurst had the same issue before him.

Funny how they were both soft HBs with poor vision in Arizona

If you took away the names and the programs, just looked at each of these two players, would you think that one is a top 5 pick and one might be an UFA?

Thomas Jones was a Pro Bowl back for the Bears and along with their defense was the reason they made the SB with Rex Grossman as QB. He went for over 10,000yds on his career too.

Very good career...

Helped the Jets with Sanchez as well

Full disclosure...Thomas is a close friend (like family) and client. So I'm quick to point out his stats...lol
