I misread stuff all the time.

Against Philly, Jones had 10 carries for 38 yards while Barber had 6 carries for 3 yards.

Against Detroit, Jones had 10 carries for 27 yards and Barber had 7 carries for 15 yards.

In both games, when they did run the ball, they got no production.

I think its enough to do better than that, certainly. Its not like JJ is a back who relies upon wearing down opponents in the 4th Q.

Well, they said they were going to throw the ball down field much more than last year. They said TO and Glenn will attack defenses deep a lot more in 2007.

Who is "they" and where did "they" say it? I haven't seen or read about Garrett saying it - or Phillips, but maybe I've missed something.

Your only indication before was that it was the "word on the street" ......

someone explained why they didn't play well, not very many carries, and you said, "but still, they should have been doing something w/ them"

and I was just reinforcing why they didn't run well

less carries, so they weren't able to establish a rythm
