The New York Daily News suggests Thomas Jones could interest the Jets or Giants if he's made available in an offseason trade.

Both clubs are believed to be in the market for a veteran back. Jones would seem better off paired with a pounder like Brandon Jacobs than Leon Washington. But if Cedric Benson's knee injury is serious (we'll likely find out Tuesday), Jones has a better shot at a contract extension.

The Bears should pay up on Jones anyways because he is better than Benson.

they really can't since Benson is making a boatload of cash, and his yearly cap number will only continue to get bigger

Rhodes and Turner are gonna be around too so Jones has some comp, if he wants to test the market.

Turner will be a steal if anyone gets him.

Rhodes is best used the way he's been used, as a change of pace guy...he doesnt have what it takes to be workhorse.

I dont think Michael Turner is going to be another one of those back up RB's who dont pan out either. I think hes the real deal.

I was wanting us to draft him coming out of College. He was absolutely unstopable at Northern Illinois.

IMO hes shown enough to be worthy of being a starter and he'll never get the opportunity in San Diego.
