RBs in 2023 Draft

If it were up to me I’d let both Pollard and Zeke go and draft 2 RB’s from this class. 1 in the 2nd and another with 1 of the few 5th’s we have. Sign a cheap vet like Justice Hill or D’Ernest Johnson as an insurance option and I don’t think the backfield misses a beat.

Tank Bigsby, Sean Tucker and Justice Hill makes a hell of a backfield in my opinion and costs like $6 million bucks

100%. Draft a cheap vet and I’d be good just drafting 1 RB, I honestly believe you can get a quality starter in round 3/4. The class is loaded.

The whole don’t draft a RB in the 1st is overblown when you’re talking late 1st. Every year 1-2 RBs go in the first. I wouldn’t use an early/mid 1st on one, but if the top back is there at 26 and is a legit top 10-15 player then I’d have no problem with it.

That said, this is an extremely deep RB draft. I also don’t really buy into Bijon being a generational talent or think there is a huge drop off between Bijon/Gibbs and the next tier.

Now days you get 4-6 years out of a RB. Zeke will be entering his 8th season and already has been declining . This is the perfect time to let him go and get a RB in the 2nd-4th rd. Which means we will likely restructure Zeke and franchise Pollard.

Israel Abanikanda out of Pitt is being severely underrated in my opinion. Tough runner who can take it to the house.

Half the board is going to complain no matter what they do. 26 is an excellent place to take Robinson

The kid is head and shoulders better than rest of the group. His short area quickness, lateral cut, burst through tight spaces and balance are amazing. Only minor knock is blazing speed. But Emmitt Smith didn’t have that speed either.
