Saftey is our only concern....
If Watkins can turn the corner this year I'll be ecstatic (and then if Roy flops or Hamlin remains stubborn we can let one go w/out hesitation)! Something about having a 6'5", rangy safety intrigues me (as long as he can perform ;) )...

Canty being singled out for overpowering guard James Marten.
Just out of curiousity...

Has there been anything reported, at any point in time since we drafted him, to suggest that James Marten is not a complete flop? Any flashes in practices, OTAs, minicamps, training camp, preseason... anything?

Don't worry guys, Roy will be free to roam this year with the massive amount of talent in the secondary. He will be knocking heads while the corners all do their jobs efficiently.

Didn't Roy kill Tashard Choice in practice? Probably old news, but I think heard he blew him up.

Felix Jones, while he was attempting to block

not noteworthy since Felix seemed unprepared, and it was mini-camp, but funny nonetheless, just Roy saying, "welcome to the NFL, rook"

Back when Roy was at OU a friend of mine that I went to high school with said he was introduced quickly by Roy over the middle.

He told me he never was the same when going over the middle. Never really ended up being much of a WR either. :(

we miss that Roy, I remember when opponents would talk about how they had to watch out for Roy across the middle

This year's secondary is going to be phenomenal. Roy won't have quite as much responsibility so he should be free to roam.

I know I know, I sound like a Roy sympathist, guess I kinda am. But with all the tools in place for Dallas and it's secondary, the thought of Roy flying around while T-New and co take care of the rest should be a scary thought for offenses.

I just can't wait to see what this year's defense is gonna look like. I do know it's gonna be super bowl ready. That's for shizzle.
