JSN wouldn't be bashing Roy, I mean, he wants to give Hamlin a huge contract, and the only way it would make sense to mention Roy in the discussion, if you're not trying to spite him, is to say that his play is worth top 5 salary, like Hamlin

I think it would be ridiculously stupid not to pay him pro bowl FS money. That is what he is, and he deserves it. He's young, and very good, and came in here and showed great leadership in our secondary this year. You never know what you're going to get in the draft in a safety, so I say most definitely lock him up. I don't think we need to be talking about top 5 safety money, but I do think we'll give him a pretty lucrative deal.

I would pay Hamlin, a free safety cant be that expensive.

Probably $2 to $3 mill per.

Roy is getting paid obscene money for being a passenger on the defense. When it comes to discussions about what other safeties on the team should be paid, Roy belongs in the conversation.

I honestly feel that Hamlin and Flo will be allowed to hit the market so they can get a feel for their value. Hamlin's agent would be foolish imo not to want RW money without testing the market and Flo.....I just think he'll want money like hes >30.
