Its funny, I suspect if we win this game 38-34 everyone would be in better spirits. If the offense isn't playing well, everyone thinks the team is horrible. If the D is giving up a lot of points but we still manage to score enough to win, people just feel better.

The D has been improving all season. If the offense can get back on track, we could be in good shape.

We won.

We're 7-3.

We're leading our division.

Stop complaining.

GREAT point.

Defense wins championships.

However we need and expect more out of our offense. The Cowboys looked like my Iowa Hawkeyes out there today.

We know what this offense can do and the last 2 weeks have been extremely frustrating. But we all know it doesn't matter whether you win by 1 or 100, its still a win.

No doubt about it. People still call the 41-37 Philly win last year a great game. The only difference is which side of the ball is playing better.

I will say I'm surprised after not reading the board all day to see people style pointing this defense today (e.g. they were terrible on 3rd downs or they should've done that because the Skins are awful). That's as absurd as if I came on here after a 48-45 win and said yeah, but we missed three wide open WRs and only rushed for 99 yards, so I'm not that impressed by the offense.

Come on, people. You hold a team to six points with no TDs in the NFL in perfect weather and field conditions, you've played a really good game. The Skins O may be bad, but six points is still the fewest they've scored all year.

It's a home game win against our bitter rivals. I wouldn't care if we won 2-0 in the last seconds of overtime.

**** the Commanders.

If Danny boy put any money into a kicker, they probably win this game.

The Defense has been playing lights out...But the offense has scored 7 points in each of the last two games.

Not really a valid argument, considering they had two more Olineman go down this game (and played a UFA rookie at OG for 2+ quarters), no Cooley, and a 3rd string RB also playing 3 quarters. This was a borderline practice squad team of what was a bad offense to begin with.

They still put up 300+ yards, converted a ridiculous % of 3rd downs, and only their own ineptitude kept more points off the board.

Agreed to a point - any time you can hold an NFL offense to 6 points it ain't bad. But this was barely a close proximity of an NFL offense with a bingo caller at the helm. Not real excited about their play today.

at this point in the season, the way you win doesn't really matter

heck, at this point you could be a .500 team, or barely above that mark, and step up when it counts later on in the season

being at 7-3, even with this pathetic win, helps us down the road

Pretty spot on assessment

You did not see an NFL caliber offense show up for the Commanders

The Commanders are a terrible team this year. Awful offense, unrealiable special teams, a D that chokes when its crunch time

Par for the course in DC
