Honestly, I have not enjoyed watching the Cowboy's two home games.

There is so much hype about the new stadium that it detracts from the game for me. Yeah, it comes off like a circus. I sure hope it doesn't impact our players in that same manner, but I do wonder about it. I think a Panther player was quoted as such last night.

The giant replay screen. I just don't get the fascination with the possibility of a punt hitting the screen. But the announcers talk about it on virtually every punt. I couldn't be more sick of hearing about it.

Tired of seeing Jerry's mug talking about the stadium and how he speaks for the players when he says it raises their excitement level (or whatever his line is).

I might feel differently if I were there in person. Not suggesting it isn't an incredible building. I'm just totally sick of the hype. Totally.

It will wear off. As for Jerry if I sank the money into that stadium that he did I would be showing it off every chance I got, hard to blame him for being proud of this great stadium. I’m happy for Jones he built one of the greatest stadiums for a franchise worthy of that.

Personally, I think you're crazy. I love seeing the team play in the new stadium.

I agree with you, Coco. I'm ready for an outdoor, grass field with 70,000 fans screaming against us.

Really tired of the stadium hype. Surely -- hopefully -- it will die down as the novelty wears off.

It will, however FOX has not covered a regular season game yet so I'm sure they will talk about it for the 1st FOX game vs Alt.

And I thought I was the only one. It's nauseating - JUST PLAY BALL!

That's fine, because it is an amazing structure. I'm just tired of the game itself being treated as a sideshow to the main attraction of the new stadium... Mainly by Jerry.

I love to watch them at home. I can't wait for them to get back home with some more wins.

Jerry just like Tex promotes this organization and yes Jerry is swining from the rafters showing off his 1.5 Billion dollar baby and I can't blame him if it were me I would be doing the same thing. The new will wear off but for now he has every right to be proud of what has been build for this franchise. I can understand how some are tired of hearing it but try putting yourself in his shoes

Yet we're 'flying under the radar'.....................thanks again, jed.

You have a point...............it's always something.

Outsiders are "hating" on Cowboy Stadium's elite nature for the very same reason they are "hating" on the Cowboys for being America's Team: They know it's all true, that the Cowboys are the greatest team and the stadium matches that greatness, and they can't stand it. And so, I LOVE it! :D

On the road-game issue: I agree. We need a road game in the worst way. But not because it's not in the new stadium but because the Cowboys, for some reason, seem to play better and more focuaed on the road.

Well, I don't know that it is all Jerry. The networks all fall over themselves to cover games in new stadiums in hopes to draw more viewers.

We would have gotten the last 2 primetime games even if this team finished 3-13 last year, just because of the new stadium.

...which is why I wonder if perhaps the new stadium isn't a distraction.

And if that is true then I absolutely would be critical of Jerry Jones. No, I don't blame him for being excited. But this is one of the downsides to Jerry wearing multiple hats.

If Jerry pulled all the marketing strings THROUGH a different staff member he could run the hype machine without impacting the team as much. When Jerry is visibly doing both the GM and carnival barker role, well I think its a distraction.

Boohoo, well don’t watch the next 6 home games.

Just make sure you take your own advice the next time you comment on something that you don't like.

Agreed. I love the new stadium and love watching the team play in it. It will only get better as the newness wears off and our fans learn when to cheer and when not to cheer. No Bobby..I dont need to see your arms flappin like an albatross, thank you very much.I also totally understand why JJ is yackin it up about his new baby (stadium). I would do the same thing but probably a WHOLE heck of a lot more.As if some fans wouldnt show off the new Ferrari they just bought.

And somehow, the 90s Cowboys seemed to rise above that and play well despite the distractions. That's what Championship-calliber players do; they just play the game well, no matter what. If these current Cowboys struggle to play well in the face of distractions then it says more about the players themselves and less about Jerry Jones Susperstar.
