Dallas now either has a real mess on their hands or a perfect opportunity. Look at the coaching staff. No Head Coach, No Offensive Coordinator, No Defensive Coordinator, No Special Teams Coach, No QB Coach.

That's either a perfect opportunity for the next head coach coming in to bring in his people or a real mess for the team next year.

Perfect opportunity. Time to move on.

I can feel the excitement. I was going to skip the offseason, but now, I'm ready for some more football!!!

Because of the poor timing it is a mess. Hopefully, we can get lucky and catch someone to lead us to greatness.

How is it poor timing? Have we lost out on anyone special???

The Super Bowl isn't even over yet? I have a feeling we may be looking at some coaches off the Super Bowl teams.

Plus we still have a lot of talent on the team. It just needs to be taken advantage of.

Neither of those scenarios are/were guaranteed.

This job might be as good of an opportunity as there has been in 20 years for a new head coach, personel wise.

Sollie chollie. Not impressed with either of them. Took Cowher 15 years to win a Super Bowl.

No thanx.

It all depends on Jerry. Does he go back to the idiot he was just a few years ago or does he actually go out and find a coach that knows what the hell he is doing?

Who would you want from the Colts or Bears? Have we been waiting for two weeks for Ron Rivera? Is there anyone else on those staffs?

This is the perfect opportunity to snatch up a fiery "younger" coach and move on. I'm excited again! I guess the Parcells lemmings will have to find something else to latch onto now.

The problem with this statement is that you are assuming that JJ is going to do just that and not go old school again. Who is the fiery young coach waiting to coach the Cowboys? Maybe the USC QB coach who turned down the Raiders?

The unknown is more exciting than another year of mediocrity. That's all I have to say on the subject. I said plenty yesterday.

timing is great AND we don't have overpaid OC/DC around that Jerruh will make the new coach keep (ie. Zimmer when Tuna arrived).

The one thing going for us this time is that "hopefully" the staff is so blown up that a total re-haul will be done. Even Parcells had to keep Zimmer when he arrived.

It's really up to Jerry to make this an opportunity or mess it all up. I do have faith in his son, Stephen. I think he learned a lot from Parcells when he was here.
