Vanderjagt had to go, any Cowboy fan or any football fan could have seen that. The MAIN reason i believe he was let go was simply because he was struggling with field goals under 40 yards. He was simply not reliable, and here's why Gramatica was a solid signing. Martin's kickoffs are superior to Vandy's, PLUS we are the #2 scoring offense in the entire NFL, only second to San Diego. Parcells KNOWS our team can move the ball on any team in the league, so he's taking the chance that Gramatica won't have to attempt many long field goals. I'm pretty sure we are in the top five statistically when it comes to Redzone touchdown %. Bill is putting the faith in our offense to move the ball and when we do get stopped in the redzone occassionally, it will be a chip shot or a managable field goal. Plus we may actually get a touchback every nine attempts! Go boys
