Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (+2.5): There is a very simple equation at play here: No Tony Romo = Dallas loss. Dez Bryant can do all he wants, but these Cowboys are not beating these Eagles with Matt Cassel at the helm. If it were Brandon Weeden I might give them a puncher’s chance, but with Cassel they’re going to get knocked out. Don’t call it a Philly comeback, they’ve been here for years, rockin’ their peers and putting suckers in fear. Okay, not really, but you get the gist…
Eagles 40, Cowboys 17

HUH????? This guy is a outright hater if anyone has ever read the site....What gets me is that someone pays him to right week after week garbage... You can predict an Eagles win, but that logic and prediction is pathetic and doesn't make sense...

Cassel and Weeden both stink, but neither are any worse than Bradford.

It'll be a battle of bad quarterbacks and whoever is worse will likely lose.

The Eagles defense doesn't have a player like Greg Hardy, but as a whole they've been pretty solid all around the last month. Creating turnovers, racking up a lot of sacks, and linebacker play will improve with Alonso back.

They aren't Seattle, but at the same time we couldn't muster more than 20 points against terrible secondaries like the Giants and Saints.

The Cowboys have the advantage with their offensive line, but they've been man handled by Philadelphia two years in a row.

There's still the Dez Bryant factor, but he has CFL quarterbacks throwing him the ball and you know Phiadelphia is not gonna make the mistake of allowing Dez to torch them one on one.

The Cowboys need to activate Brice Butler because he's a guy that can take advantage of the attention Dez will get. Big bodied guy who's shown he can make catches with his actual hands unlike Terrance and can be a deep threat. He could have a big day.

Need to see less of Jeff Heath and more of JJ Wilcox. Their biggest big play receiver has been Riley freaking Cooper. They've had aton of drops. We should be able to handle them. Mo will shadow Matthews. Byron should be able to take care of Ertz again. Carr against Cooper assuming that's the matchup shouldn't be problematic because Cooper doesn't really have the speed that can cause Carr issues especially on inside breaking routes.

All in all this game is a toss up.

As hard as I've been on Dallas and as I hard as I'll continue to be this is a winnable football game. You're at home against a division rival with your season on the line against another sub .500 team there is no reason they can't win this game. Go out and do it. Play a complete game. Run the ball, play action, take what the defense gives Cassel and ONLY take shots when they're there. Don't force the issue. You can't miss Cole Beasley down the middle of the field or Terrance in the corner of the end zone. Don't force it to Dez in triple coverage. Use your legs if you need to. JUST WIN BABY. We just need one win and we're in business.

The Eagles have dropped over 30 points on a team once all year - a woeful Saints D at home in Philly.

But they will drop 40 here?

LOL.

LOL.

It might not all come from their offense. I'm concerned about turnovers with Cassell going against this front seven.

What's funny is Cassel beat a much better Eagle team in 2013 with a terrible Vikings squad minus AP.

Let's hope he can duplicate this performance.

I wanna believe in them I really do.

I don't like being negative.

Just win Cowboys. You can do it.

At the end of the day it doesn't matter what fans or anyone outside of that locker room believes it matters what they believe.

Your season is on the line. PLAY LIKE IT.

Hit them in the mouth, play physical, protect the football like it's your son or daughter, execute, catch the damn ball, make accurate passes when players are open Cassel, defensively stay in your lanes, hit his bum Bradford and he will fold as he did in Week 2 and time and time again, catch the football because he will give you opportunities, get off blocks, stay in your gaps, and make plays in the run game. Don't get beat by pick plays. either press both recievers or play some zone. Keep the ball in front of you. No special teams gaffes.

We can do this and we NEED to do this. We have blown enough games. ENOUGH. That needs to end his week. We can't let these punks come in and man handle us again. NOT THIS TIME. This is their shot. On SNF. The entire nation will be watching. Everyone talking crap about the Cowboys. Everyone saying we'll wilt and we can't finish games and we'll beat ourselves and I openly acknowledge I've said such things and that's because they've done exactly that, but those losses are those losses. Can't change them, but the Cowboys can change this week. They can rise above it and go win a football game. JUST DO IT. BEAT PHILADELPHIA.

Win it for Tony. He's given his entire body to this football team. He has won so many games for us. He is the REASON we are even in the discussion every year. Go OUT and win it for him. He deserves that much. At least give this guy a chance to come back and lead this team to the playoffs again. Just give him a chance because I fully believe in my heart he is the best quarterback in the game, the MVP, and with just one win he WILL take us to the playoffs for the second straight season.

Probably more like 28-17 Eagles. Cowboys could win, but they will need to 'finish' better than they have in the past month.

That's encouraging.

I agree with a lot of what Run said, but objectively, Bradford is better than our backups. But our OL neutralizes that comparison.

I think our DL finally gets it together this week, and the 2 secondaries will probably grade out similarly, so we may have a bit of an edge there.

So, it will likely come down to TO's and ST's. We have been woefully weak at both, so it's not logical to expect a major turn-around. But that ball is not round, and it will bounce funny at times.

We need to get some favorable bounces and win the TO or ST battles in order to win this game.
