I was just looking at the giants schedule and notice something, they played their best football as underdogs. Against NE, Gb,nyj, and Cowboys they played their best game, they were underdogs in all 3, to me that says something about their mental makeup. When no one gives them a chance they stand up, also there's not as much pressure on the in those situations.

As home favorites against the spread they are 2-6 on the year losing straight up to Seattle, wash, and Philly(Vince .young). They beat Miami and buffalo by 3 but was favored by a lot more. They haven't played well when the expectations are high. To me all the pressure will be on them and they have not responded well in that situation. No one will give us a chance this week, they will bring up the eagles game (08) and the last giants game and that's a good thing. If Tony is healthy we win this game.

Realist's take? ok...

A realist is concerned that the Cowboys will really even give a crap or the coaching staff will have them prepared next week.

Well you hope that the Giants play down but reality is that they always play up when playing our team. Jacobs plays pumped up against us, he will be motivated to humiliate our Defense like he did in the first game and we already know our secondary is bad.

Can the O-Line not get Romo killed against JPP, Tuck, and Osi?

I hope that I am wrong I think we lose on SNF.

Like last year in Ny?

Last year's team played in that game with pride and heart for Garrett. This year's team at least not on the defensive side has Zero Heart, Zero Fight, Zero toughness or pride. Other wise they wouldn't lay down and give up a 12 point lead with five minutes left to go in the first game with the Giants.

I wanted to believe that after the whipping the Eagles O put on them in the first game, that the D would come out Sat and play tougher but it looked the same especially in the first half with Vick picking us apart and having all day in the pocket to throw the ball.

So after not stopping the Giants the first time how will this D stop Eli in the second game? No pressure on Eli in the first game. Now we have to hope that Romo's hand gets better and he has to play a perfect lights out game to make up for a D that gives up a ton of yards and points.

I wish that the Defense gave me a reason to believe, they do not

If you look at the Giants schedule you'll see they have focus problems just like us. Again when they are expected to win they haven't performed well. The pressure is on them, they get a team that they just beat in their house (Dallas), they get to play them at home, Romo is banged up, cowboys December reputation, they should win going away.

First off all the giants didn't stop us either, I hope this time Ryan doesn't blitz every play.

The Giants have been terrible at home this year....

Agree with this, eli has been awfully good against us when we blitz him.

Also look at Eli's last two games he's not exactly setting the world on fire. Now that was against two secondaries that I like better than ours but still.

Which is why I and many others think that it's the Defense that will hold this team back. 34 points, with Romo throwing 4 TD's and giving the D a 12 point lead with five minutes left to go should be enough to win the game, but the D just let the Giants O walk all over them. It's like Romo will have to have a mistake free repeat performance and throw for more TD's just for this team on win on SNF.

Really? I thought we played well at the Jets, NE, and 49er's. Well enough to win...

SF is the only good team the Cowboys have beaten. Moral victories don't count.

Not talking about morale victories, I'm talking about how we played on the road and we played well enough to win against the Jets, NE, and 49er's. If you wish to ignore that, then do so. The Boyz have been very competitive on the road except for the Egirl game..

Both teams are hovering around .500 for a reason.

It is difficult to muster much confidence in either team winning or losing.

and what's the boy's record in prime time night games this year?

I tell you, if the players in football when I was playing were playing now, the need for anger management would solidly be supporting momentum for this group of Cowboys.:starspin
