We’re beginning to see fans making their bold predictions for the upcoming 2018 season.

I though this might be a good time to discuss the rhymes and reasons you have or don’t have high expectations this year beyond just optimistic hope or doom and gloom.

Meaning more detail explanation of what your basing your predictions on.

Just watch the games and put no expectations on the game, If they win great, if not,oh well, same crap as years before. pretty simple.
That’s an interesting perspective . Definitely doesn’t set us up for disappointment and opens the door to be pleasantly surprised.

Personally I’m looking forward to how our defense progresses as I believe if it's improved especially on DL it will lend much support to an offense with more uncertainity with new pieces on OL and recieving corp.

Our passing offense has to be improved from 26th ranked. Hopefully Elliott in there for 16 games will make it more effective.

We can’t have as many games where we score under 10 points.

Our Redzone offense has question marks also losing our two most effective weapons in TD receptions.

Whose going to step up as our TE? That could be a thread on its own.

I certainly don’t know how this season will play out but I do believe this could be one where the defense actually carries this team more than the offense. I like the addition of Richards to guide the secondary and I just get a good vibe on that side of the ball.

The offense might struggle. No playmaker at the receiver position to speak of. And Dak is going to be asked to do more as a result. And let’s hope Bailey doesn’t go Vander-shank on us.

Never a dull moment when it comes to this organization.

10-6 sounds OK. We were getting in from the Red zone last year more then usual.
We need a TE and Noah Brown to do some Y blocking and will get in.
We just have to get our rookies past those first game speed recognition issues. I think we'll have a year to build on.

I don't care about winning every game, I just want to win the next game.

10-6. Wildcard berth and a win in the wildcard round.

Anything less than that and Garrett is gone.

That’s my expectations.

I'll go with this. The NFC is tough but we still won 9 last year with all our injuries and missing players. I also believe there's a better chance for us to win 12 games than us winning only 8 (assuming no injuries to Dak).

11-5, second to the Eagles in the division. Zeke is the leagues lead rusher and the D is top 5.

We let go of our #1 WR, our TE retired, Williams probably wont be here after being arrested. We may even be replacing Beasley. Even if you replace them, you need time to get them adjusted. Combined with Dak's somewhat lackluster performance last season, and I see teams stacking and making Zeke job alot harder. Defensively we have improved, but whether they need Lee to be decent has yet to be seen.

Its just going to be hard getting into the playoffs. The Eagles marched through the playoffs and won the SB with the a backup QB, and they are getting their superstar QB back and healthy again. I don't see any reason why they won't at least win the division again this year.

Little do us clueless fans know, Dallas will win the SB. Everything is just at a calm right now. Flowers growing and birds chirping.

My expectation are high, I think there is ample talent on this team both sides of the ball and they can challenge Philly. Cowboys under performed in 2017 after coming off a very good 2016 and I expect this team to compete for the division and beyond.

The only thing we know right now is on paper. They could be paper champions. That does nothing for me. I'm patiently waiting for OTA film and training camp to base some of my opinions on.

I agree with Doomsday. I think that we have plenty of talent to contend for the division and beyond. Last year was an aberration due to the Zeke distraction but I think this year we go full throttle and run over teams. 11 or 12 wins and we make some noise in the playoffs
