From Air America Cowboys, where the supreme truth gets up and bites you and says, "howdy!"

Oh, how the other mighty have fallen. Atlanta, Philly, Seattle.

Only New Orleans seems dangerous out of this bunch.

But back to Chicago. The buzz is that Grossman will choke and cough up the ball. Home field advantage and the really frozen tundra pose difficultures for America's Team.

And the Giants seem a bit discombobulated. Injuries, dissention. Tiki and Shockey as loose emotional cannons.

Call me naive, but the Cowboys are looking mighty good.

Why for this optimism? 'Boys have 10 days to rest. Giants will go against a scrappy Titans AT Tennessee on Sunday.

When the Cowboys meet the Giants, the 'Boys will have the advantage, albeit playing in New York. Or new jersey, whereever they play.

And one word about the Boys' real strength.

BALANCE.

Seatle could be tough
They have been playing without there QB and RB...
Also Panthers could beat anybody but at this time Cowboys are playing as good as anyone.

If we make the playoffs, only Chicago worries me. We match up well against the Seahawks and Giants.

I'm still hoping that we won't have to face Chicago.

If they end up with Carolina then I think we'll be meeting them in the NFC Championships at home.

Chicago looks very good. But what I noticed sometimes, it seems some RB's can get some pretty decent runs against them. Their offense can be controlled. Put pressure on Grossman, and their offense is done. TR wlll just to need watch their coverages and blitzes. As they are EXCELLENT there.

I think the way we are playing now, and the way they are, we can take them.

Seattle just looks like a different team from last year. Even when Alexander has been in the lineup, he hasn't been the same player. I am curious to see if they can put a run together with Hasselbeck back. But they have some definite holes.

I agree. Seattle especially. They've been hit pretty hard by the injury bug, but fortunately for them, they got it out of the way and should be healthy down the stretch.

Panther's don't have much of a rushing attack, but their D remains solid and as long as Steve Smith can remain healthy, they'll always be a threat.

The Saints don't worry me at all. They're still a year or two away, imo.

Grossman will prove to be the Bears achilles heel during the playoffs.

Seattle gets healthy they will be very difficult to contend with in the playoffs.
I would not like us to meet them in the tournament.

I'm not worried about beating Seattle. We almost beat them last year in Seattle with Bledsoe in there. We are a much better team now then we were then. Now Holmgrens real smart and his defense will have figured out how to stop Romo utilizing the 3 ideas posted elsewhere on this board. But having a blueprint and actually being able to execute it to really effect the outcome is another story.

The only teams I really fear are the Giants in the Meadowlands if all their injuried players are back and healthy. The wind in their standium is unreal but Parcells should remember enough about it to see Romo is prepared. Also when he cites weaknesses in Romo, you better believe he sees the same 3 weaknesses already cited. The remainder teams on our schedule are concerns only if we let down & return to our inconsistent/penalty riddens selfs.

Once regular season over, I suspect we'll end up playing Carolina again (at our house) and then probably Seattle in their house; believe we can beat both of them if we play as well as we playing now. But we gotta play our best to do it. Anyway we certainly should make the playoffs (hopefully by winning the division outright) and win at least 1 game in the playoffs. Winning 2 of them is also a real possibility.

If we can get to the SB, we'll probably face either the Chargers, Colts or the Pats and my money at this point is on the Chargers. They also have a very good young QB in Rivers, a great running back in LT & a pretty good defense. We have a very good young QB in Romo, a really good group of WRs & more then decent running backs and our defense is just as good (don't know the numbers but our defense is considered real good) as theirs. That could be a matchup for the ages.

No one worries me. I bet the entire NFC is crapping in their pants at the prospect of facing a Cowboys offense that features a QB with quick, accurate throws downfield, TO, Terry Glenn, Witten, etc.

As of right now, Tony Romo >>>>>>>>> Rex Grossman.

Bring on the freaking Bears. I have my popcorn ready.

What amazes me is that everyone acts like they can insert Hasselbeck and Alexander back in the lineup, and they'll start winning again.

Both those players have been shelved for a long time, and have lots of rust on them.

Right now, the best team in the NFC West appears to be the Niners. Yes, the Niners.

I don't get why people write off Carolina. They scare me more than any other NFC team. Dont know why, I don't like our chances against them in the playoffs. Don't think we will beat them twice in one season.

I don't get why people always get all impressed by Carolina, they're average. They have some playmakers on D, and a playmaker on O. Their running game sucks, and their offense as a whole is pretty weak. Their D is slightly above average. They're overrated. They've been overrated ever since they made a nice playoff run a few years ago.

from what I see we will be able to take out the falcons, lions and eagles...the saints are going to be tough...same thing with the gints, we can beat them but they will be tough...

in the playoffs, the saints, gints and bears will be the teams that could give us trouble...if we beat the gints next week we could be playing them in a playoff game...in dallas...hope we figure out how to stop the pass
