I have come to the conclusion that GM Jerry Jones will never see another SB with the Dallas Cowboys in it. You can blame the coaches and players - the true fact is they all got here via the GM.

I agree that Jerry the GM is the issue. Whch sucks because he is such a great Owner, possibly the best in sports. I just wish he could see he is hurting the team OR at least realize that he can hire someone to do a better job than he is capable of.

I think we will remain a talented but not championship caliber team until Jerry removes himself as GM. Hopefully, he'll see this much sooner than it has taken Al Davis, who obviously still hasn't.

The only role Jerry Jones has is that he continues to stick with Wade Phillips.

Now this is a huge role, but as far as talent on the field, Jerry Jones has done his part to put competitive talent on the field.

Wade is a good guy, but this he isnt getting the most of the talent Jerry assembled. I got blasted for saying it, but I felt like Wade should of been gone after the 2007 season regardless of our 13-3 record.

How many times can you out play good teams and still lose before it falls back on the coaches?

No, put the blame where it belongs;
Wade says he wanted to win the game for jerry because of how he has built the stadium and things he does for the players. Yet, wade admitted last week, he probably should have worked on the blitz defense more on blitz packages because he didnt want to hurt players. Well, in answer to that, look at the jets, they had a new head coach and you saw their defense use mulitple packages on blitzes etc to sack and harrass brady. Where are this famed defenses sacks, interceptions from the great defensive coordinator wade?

Next, listen to what the players said, we wanted to win it for jerry, from witten, romo, wade, crayton. and others. Yet, the star qb continutes to go out and lay eggs on big pressure games. Look at the giants playoff game in 2007, the seattle game playoff, the ravens game, the pittsburgh. In the pittsburgh game, romo said the same thing, i need to stop doing those stupid mistakes, but he continues to go out and do them. Look at Flozell with his penalty, the cowboys had a first down with the crayton catch and would have been out of the hole, but flozell does another stupid play right in front of the refs. Look at Ken Hamlin, how much money did he get last year in a new contract. Have you seen Ken Hamlin make any plays like sensabaugh did so far this year? Look at the play of newman, suppose to be one of your star top CBs in the league. Newman said he wanted to be paid like a top CB in the league, but how did Newman play last night?

Its on the coaches and players, jerry jones has done all he could do. Jerry Jones went out and paid players new contracts, Jerry got rid of T O, pacman, tank johnson, tony curtis whom wasnt motivated. Jerry let wade bring in some of his players in Igor, Brooking, and Sensabaugh. Jerry let wade draft for special teams players along with getting a great special teams coach.

Put the blame where it needs to go, on the coaches and players.

Garrett at times didnt call a great game either last night. With 12 minutes to go in the game, Garrett has the offense go into the shotgun formation on first down, when we needed to keep running the ball.

Not sure why you got blasted.

Wade Phillips is 0-4 in the Playoffs. He has never proven he can get a Playoff Win.

Wade Phillips could become the first Head Coach Jerry Jones fires during the season.

Although some will say that Campo was the first as Jerry was flying Parcells around in his Jet before the 2002 Season was over :laugh2: .

Wade Phillips was part of the 3 amigos, that were the main problems we had last year. Terrell Owens, Jason Garrett and Wade Phillips.

I guess he deserves some blame, but he doesnt play or coach the games.

Compared to alot of teams, we have alot of talent on both sides of the ball. Jerry has spent money to go and get key free agents or resign our own best players. The drafts have been vastly improved after those debacles in 2000-20001.

He did pick the coach, and its apparent now Wade was a poor choice. There's just no excuse for the defense to be this bad. He said the main reason he picked Wade over Norv was because of Wade's ability to get the most out of 3-4 schemes. Hindsight is 20-20, but Norv would have been alot better because of the impact he would have had on Romo. Even as poor as the defense was last night or at the end of the game vs Baltimore/Pitt last yr, if Romo doesnt butcher the games we win all those. I have no doubt Norv would have had a huge (positive) impact on Romo.

This team has been a direct reflection of Jerry Jones since Jimmy Johnson left.

After his players were gone Dallas has been futile.

Jerry puts in the effort to win. He spends money, he brings in top talent.

I can't fault Jerry for anything I saw last night. Jerry didn't throw 3 INTs thats for sure.

I can fault Jerry for not getting rid of Wade. Wade is a bum.

Thank god this is the last year we will have to watch Wade. No way Wade gets another year.
