Let me make this absolutely clear.....

Reality is not my friend.

If reality was my friend then I would spend today listening to the news so I could learn about all the tragic, evil, and unjust events that happens to good people undeserving of the misfortune they must endure.

I live precariously through a group of men participating in a child's game specifically so I can take a break from reality because, let's face it, reality sucks.

Shout out to those Cowboys fans who didn't cave in to the homer mob who spent all week browbeating other Cowboys fans who are willing to admit that the 49ers are probably the better overall team and should be favored to win. And these fans are not Debbie Downers. They realize that on any given Sunday, any team can beat any other team. They just simply acknowledge that over the course of the season, the 49ers have been consistently more dominant and haven't had phases of playing down to inferior teams, penalties and turnovers like the Cowboys have. It wasn't 49ers fans calling for their head coach and starting QB to be kicked to the curb just 2 weeks ago like Cowboys fans were after the Washington loss.

So long story short...you can be a Cowboys fan and acknowledge reality at the same time. You don't have to be one these delusional idiots who are being completely fake about their confidence in the Cowboys winning today. You know, the ones who keep bringing up the 1992 NFC Championship, keeping shouting empty words about fate and destiny. These are not true fans. They are really cowards when it comes down to it.

I expect the mob to show up here and spout their hatred. But I'll be busy watching the game and will cheer/scream/celebrate every bit as hard if the Cowboys are winning today.
It’s your right to have your own point of view. There are two philosophies and speaking of browbeat the nonstop cat calls towards our quarterback for years really got old so if you’re crying about at homers calling you out well just grow up

SF has had their soso games against soso teams also.

Not a homer. SF is a bit better than us, but not by all that much. It's close enough that we could easily win this game. I give us a 45% shot at winning. Very close to 50-50.
You forgot the double digit loss to Atlanta.

And is this any better than what the homers were doing all week? Y’all just continue to call each other out. Same stuff; different day.

Im ok with being a homer for this game. I absolutely wanred to believe tge boys would win. The game is reality and its about to be a loss for the boys. The old offense needs to go along with all offensive coaches. The boys have 1 skill player worth a dam but CD isnt elite to take over on his own.

Irrelevant to the discussion.

We were specifically talking about teams playing down to the competition. I merely provided examples.
I just considered that as playing down to the competition...though maybe way down in that instance.

Well at least one of the 3 NFCE teams is still alive. Come on let's get behind the eagles. Philly should crush the 9ers. Let's go NFCE!

I'm so sorry to all Cowboys fans who believed that this was going to be the moment the Cowboys would finally get back to the NFC championship. But hey, we did win a road playoff game and kept the 49ers within a score the entire game. Had we not lost Pollard, maybe we could have kept a balanced attack and give the offense a better chance. The defense fought tough but was getting worn down. I won't get too down on Dak as the 49ers have been doing this to QBs all season. Good season Cowboys! But yes the better team won tonight unfortunately.
