According to NFL sources & CBS Joel Corry hes asking 37.5 a year 150 mil ..125 guaranteed
I like Dak hes a solid top 10...but nope Tag.. I'd actually look to see what type of picks were offered....J Ramsey went for 2 #1s & a 3...Frank Clark went for a 1 & 2 ..so a QB has to be at least that

Would be a good deal for the Cowboys, by AAV anyways.

125 million guarantee for guy who has never made it pass the divisional round of the playoffs. I like Dak but he and his agent need to come back to reality world.

Based on my math, it is a 4 year deal but to your point, I think I am trying to get 5 years if I am Dallas.

3 years is 112.5 with 125 guaranteed. That's a 12.5 buy out and Dak will be right back at the table or signing with another team. It's really a three year deal.

The main thing to look for is the signing bonus. A lot of times the other chunks of the guarantees is the first through 2/3rd year base salaries are fully guaranteed. At 112.5mil, I agree it's a min of 3 year deal as it probably uses the first three 3 years base salary that can become fully guaranteed at signing or on the 3rd/5th day of that year etc...

Goff and Wentz got small signing bonuses. Wilson got 65mil.

Exactly.

Well, at least its not $40 million! But seriously, I would not pay Dak more than Russell Wilson. I'd give him a 3 year deal for less and then let him earn his next contract. If he wants to be the top paid QB, then he needs to do something better than what he did in 2019. For example, don't turn into a noodle arm in week 16 with the division title on the line.

The danger is of course that Mahomes gets a ridiculous contract from KC and then Dak wants close to that and significantly more then $37.5. But again, He has not shown he is in the top 5 QB league to why pay him more than any QB in the league?

Try throwing a football with a sprained AC joint. He needed a shot just to raise his arm for God's sake.

still think they meet in the middle at $35...(like glimmerman has been saying).

What CBS football have you been reading? Prisco, La Canfora, Brinson are awful. A monkey throwing crap at the wall is more accurate.

Kinda feel like you don't like Monkey much and are throwing them under the bus here, with that last statement you made Zebra.

;)

Russell Wilson signed less than a year ago.

4 years/$140MM with $107MM guaranteed.

Dak wants 4 years, $150MM with $125MM guaranteed.

I get the market goes up every year but the idea that Dak deserves more than Wilson, whose contract ink really isn't even dry yet is preposterous.

But Jerry gonna cave, I am sure.

It's how FA works for QBs...he's an above average QB that's the next man up so he's going to get a monster contract.

Everyone thought Cousins was overpaid now it looks like an average contract.

If Miami is game then I trade Dak for Miami’s 5 to take Tua + Miami’s 26th pick of the first round.

pipe dream

At this point I'd take a 1 & 2....can get picks for Amari aswell. ..Brady likes A Brown & he will have 1 last chance...or find other FA WRs..like AJ Green ..but not pay Dak 37 & Amari 19

Dak shoul

We’ve said all the wrong things. We’ve been public that we have no alternate plans. He’s the guy. And guess what ? He knows it. They’re going to give him the exclusive tag. And he’ll eventually get the deal he wants. To be honest, because of the cap increases expected in 2021 it won’t be a bad money deal. But I wish they were more willing to consider alternatives.
