This week was even better than last in that the Cowboys are now in 1st place and the Yanks are 1 win away from their 27th World Series Championship!

I want to commend you on an EXCELLENT post.

Yankees - what a performance out there. Guts, glory and team chemistry. Its a beautiful thing.

How can you root for the Yankees? Its like rooting rooting for the Wall Street crooks.

Praise Jerry for trying to put the best players on the field but the Yankees are crooks for doing so... and on the verge of closing the deal. hehehe

We should only HOPE the Cowboys can net the same results.

Well I'm originally from NY (now live in NJ) and I root for the Cowboys.

I've been a fan of the teams I root for since I was 5. That's 32 years.
I grew up in NY and root for the Yanks (like most people there) and I root for the Rangers (that was like the opposite of being a "front runner").

As a kid growing up in the 70's, everything was Steelers and Cowboys. I rooted for the Cowboys against the Broncos in the SB and never looked back. Ironically, it was my dad (a HUGE Giants fan) that encouraged me root for the Cowboys during that SB since he had a bet on the game. Unlike most in the NY area, I stuck with the Cowboys for the rest of my life as the others went over to the Giants and Jets.

Being a Cowboys fan in this area is to be commended since we take more crap than anyone.
