Really want no part of Terrell or Murray at 17!

I am fully aware that the media scouts are wrong at times slotting draft prospects. Lve was a good example of this, the majority of draft sites had him listed as a late day 2 player, where he was actually on many teams boards as a 1st rd graded player.

AJ Terrell-he is almost a consensus 2nd rd player by many of the top draft sites. Dane Bruglar stated recently he could even go ahead of the Cowboys at 17. Not a scout nor any kind of talent evaluator, but I did see him get roasted in the national championship game. No we cannot base a prospect on 1 game, but heard there are other games against lesser opponents in which he struggled. It's not like he played in a power conference either and was surrounded with top talent. I'm on the taking the high CB train, but I want no part of him at 17, at 25 or later maybe.

K. Murray-on almost every draft profile we hear that Murray, is a high character, downhill tackling machine. Most believe he is very raw in coverage, that he could potentially become a 3 down player on the next level. Not even discussing his questionable instincts, a 2 down player is not worth a mid-1st rd pick. These type of players tend to go late rd 1, early rd 2.

We may not have much choice. The way most drafts are falling, we are reaching some way at 17.

Just because we want to trade, doesn’t mean we will find a partner.

Not a fan of Murray. But Terrell is flying up boards. He is going to go much higher once the falcons move up for Henderson and teams panic for a CB.

I just am not a fan of Terrell. I could get behind Murray, especially if Nolan and company have a creative way to use all three LBs then.

Terrell is an option if the board is wiped, hard pass on Murray.
