Just another reason Wade Phillips has lost control of this team and should be fired immediately...

Someone let me know when the ax drops so I can pop the champagne.

Okay, now you're just piling on. Keep at it, good man.

I keep hoping to see BREAKING NEWS either scrolling across the bottom of ESPN, or posted on this site that reads "Wade Phillips Has Been Fired". I look for this every morning, every afternoon, and every evening...but still nothing but disappointment.

How can Minnesota waive a player who used to be one of the best all-time receivers after only four games, yet we have a coach who has turned a Superbowl caliber team into the laughing stock of the league and still remains the head coach?

I understand that firing Wade would officially indicate we are waving the white flag on the season, but anyone who saw the Jacksonville game can tell you the players have already done it. It's time to fire him if for no other reason than to offer the fans an olive branch as a gesture of saying that we are trying to move in the right direction.

Please Jerry, this needs to happen sooner than later...I can't stand to see the team I love so dearly turn into something I'm embarrased to even watch.

The problem is we only have 3 CBs on the roster, so if Newman cant go then what do you do??

Have Jenkins and Scandrick starting and move Ball to #3 CB and have Barry Church move in at starting safety???

Scandrick sucks and Church is a rookie, so we are toast either way.

***Not that I am saying Wade should not be fired, just saying we dont have alot of options at corner and if there is anyway Newman can go then he has to at least try because we got no other options*****

I predict Wade will be fired next week IF we get blown out in Green Bay and the players clearly mail it in like they did vs. Jacksonville.

I really like Trent Dilfer's analysis, he's a little bit more intelligent and insightful than your average dumb jock ex-football player meathead who just throws out a lot of cliches. He's still got a lot of contacts in the coaching community in the NFL and he breaks down and charts the 22 game film for every team during the week. He said the Cowboys performance on Sunday was the closest he's ever seen to a team outright quitting on the field.

I really think there's some credence to SDogo's report that Jerry is just buying some time and has told Wade to start preparing the transition process. Wade's "going back to fundamentals" meme in yesterday's press conference could just be a concession that they're getting the young players ready for extensive playing time and they're dialing back the schemes for his replacement to take over. After this week, the Cowboys play 3 games in 11 days. I think Jerry is just hoping he can make it to the Thanksgiving Game with Wade without complete fan revolt, and that the interim head coach will take over during the Thanksgiving Break.

i will be rejoicing too DC, but I dont think it will happen till the cowboys are totally eliminated from playoffs, and jerry jones cant pump the team or players up anymore like wade to sell tickets, cowboys appareal, like the sunshine they try to give.

I say after the giants game, cowboys are officially out of playoffs with no hope to get in playoff scenario. Till that is done DC nothing will be done. So, after or if cowboys get beat by packers and giants in NY, and their record is 1-8, then jerry jones cant be positive anymore.

Hey DC, on your # 348, did you add in, where cowboys could have gotten FB Owen Schmidt, but wes phillips didnt look at him or at least cowboys didnt for whatever reason, but as you know he is a bulldozer at picking up blitzes and run blocking.

Then, did you see this DC 49ers claim Thaddeus Gibson off waivers,

I thought we were suppose to be looking at players DC

How about also DC, as you know we have only 3 CBs on the team, and newman was hurting, have we signed another CB yet, NO, MrFixit doofus wade always waits, and you know who looks for players right to sign, Wes Phillips is one of the persons that judges players cowboys to look at.

How about our run blocking DC Sunday. Dont get me wrong, I love Costa, think he will be good at Center, not dominant mind you, but ok at center, he scraps. But we have one of the strongest players on the team in Travis Bright, and yet, he is still on practice squad. To me, Bright should have been playing in that game at LOG. He is stronger, and would have punched a hole for barber to run into endzone.

the ninny wade, still waits and waits and waits though.
