1. seattle is one of the toughest places to play and for whatever reasons every season the Seahawks are 100 percent different team home than away.

2. Seattle is 0-1 and has Green Bay coming in next week. They're looking at 0-3.

3. We always seem to lose this type of game in years past.

4. Do we have a hangover after our big win

Any of these reasons scare you or am I overreacting?

Ps anyone think Demarco Murray is Eddie George just bigger faster stronger. Idk I could be wrong.

Yes the Seahawks are much better at home than on the road, but the Cowboys still are a better, more talented team then Seattle. If they stick to what they do and cut down on the penalties, we should still come out with a victory.

By the way I'm a regular on the Cowboys official forum, But I decided to dip my toes in the water here and see how it goes. Be gentle with me ;)

Seahawks have a rookie qb who has never played at their home before in a regular season.

You are absolutely correct. Games like this often turn out to be a nightmare for the Cowboys. I like the quiet determination that the team is showing so far this year. Hopefully this will carry over on Sunday, but if I was a betting man I would not touch this one...

I mentioned this being a 'Trap Game' in another forum and hope the Boyz dont go into this game too confident.

Im sure Romo is focused to not let another 'blooper' moment happen there.

;)

Valid Points, but I think 11 days between games is a huge advantage for the Cboys. w 27-10

points 3 and 4 don't worry me anymore. Garrett has been able to mentally prepare this team for anything. However, points 1 and 2 are still valid.

I think that if you have any optimism about our playoff aspirations this season then, this game should be nothing more than a relaxing, penciled-in, win. There are plenty of opponents to worry about on the schedule and the Seahawks shouldn't be one of them.

Welcome to the forum. Please continue to contribute.:welcome:

I disagree that we tend to lose to mediocre teams. Everyone loses a few of these but I wouldn't say that we lose a lot of these games.

Welcome! Love the gif! Love how Newman looks down at the guy then looks over at Roy as if to say, "xxxx, Roy! You killed another one!" :laugh2:

Over the last two years I don't know about point #1. I think the 'Hawks are only like 2 games over .500 the last two years at home. I don't think it will be as hostile as the Giants game. That was a big time stage and the Cowboys "showed up". If the focus is what I believe it will be, this should be a win.

Cowboys are much more talented than the 'Hawks.

This Cowboy team is not taking Seattle lightly. And while they're acknowledging Seattle's strengths, they're preparing by focusing on their own strengths to dish out a little of their own firepower. Unless the Cowboys beat themselves, I see no reason for them not to win by at least 2 TDs.

I think that this is a relic from the 90's powerhouse teams, when we had a few head-scratching let-downs, but not as applicable to recent squads in the era of parity.

The reasons the OP posted are exactly why I think Seattle is a big test for the Cowboys are far as mentality and psyche goes. Coming off a big win, will the Cowboys be up to a hostile environment with a stingy defense not looking to quit? They can't sleep walk into this game, because the Seahawks are way better than people let on.

The Giants win was a statement game, now it's time to take that momentum and roll over the Seahawks. They are very capable of dismantling any team in the NFL imho, but the fortitude has to be there and for this team to treat the Seahawks as dangerous as the Patriots, Ravens, Giants, etc.

I expect the Cowboys to win, but if they get themselves into a hole or if Romo throws a stinker game with a very tough secondary, then it could be a long game.

Welcome!! Just so you know we have some really nifty options offered at relatively low fees.

The one I'd recommend off the top of my head is the 'auto-ignore' option.

I'll send ya the list................ ;)

they have a rookie starting his first game at home. That will nullify any home field advantage they have as he is unfamiliar with the environment.

I think the team's mentality is different. Every win is not given as they realized last year. If they play for four quarters instead of just three, I don't think they'll lose. The Giants game shows they are heading in that direction which is good.
