1. He has a life outside football, and despite the fact that Brady is married to Giesel, and Favre is sending out lewd phone calls, Romo hasn't won a ring so, he is the devil.

2. He is famous, and got there from nowhere. People aren't proud, they're jealous.

3. He wears ball caps, backwards. Thats just not right. Execute him.

4. He wears non conventional to this generation type head gear in his civilian wear.

5. He has fun playing the game. People complain about the NFL teams having no heart, but when players do show heart, or that they love the game, they are persecuted for it.

6. He throws interceptions are takes big hits when he is trying to make a play happen and his line isn't blocking for him. Just because someone messes up, doesn't mean its their fault, but thats not how we see it.

7. He doesn't seem to let defeat get him down, he perceivers, and that isn't acceptable.

I agree it's completely idiotic, but I don't think we need another thread on this.

All these trade romo for a 1st round draft pick threads makes me think otherwise.

I think he turns people against him when he makes comments like he did after the Philly game.

Also, his immediate payday for nothing

I don't know. I want to like him. I really really do.

I have never understood the total hate of some for Romo but his laughing and giggling on the sidelines last night made me lose quite a bit of respect for him...that is just unacceptable behavior on the sideline when that mess was going on. What was there to joke and feel good about? IDIOT...

I like him, but he doesn't LOVE football enough for my taste. I think that's changing a bit , but he's too Social and Tony Dorsett has said the same, said he didn't believe he was a leader and that's good enough for me.

This could be the dumbest thing I've read all day and that's saying something.

The Philly comment was correct, but fans didn't want to hear it.

His "immediate payday for nothing" was after basically an entire season's worth of great QBing. It was either lock him up then for what is now a VERY good value for a franchise QB, or risk the price going up even further.

I'm going to go with stupidity.

Basically. I'm on another forum arguing with people about saying he's garbage and everything. I asked him to explain and I can't wait for that answer.

This one disgusts me. Meanwhile media pundits and announcers go gaga over Brett Favre, "oh look at him! it's just like a kid on the playground, he plays and just loves to have fun, look at him throwing snowballs!"

Yeah, I can see where it was as he was going through his father's illness.

However, when you're a fan and you use your hard-earned money to support a team who has an overpaid celebrity at QB, it chaps your butt.

Let's face it, when people hear that, they want to shake him and say, "Dude, you dont get to try out for the US Open without this job. You don't have pretty blondes on your arm without this job. This job is the most important thing in your life."

The only reason why some people don't like Tony Romo is he either outplayed somebody they were a fan of to get the starting job or they were huge Terrell Owens fans.

Period.

Or they're Cowboys haters...or just dumb.

8. Former TO jock sniffers.

9. He's an undrafted free agent, and some people still believe only a former Top 5 draft pick can ever be a truly "elite" QB, thus we have to draft a QB with a Top 5 pick this year.
