Everything points to this. Gone are the days when he would get the best players, Deion, TO, Haley, Keshawn Johnson, Galloway, and the list goes on. That's when a championship was important to him. That Jerry is gone. A championship is no longer priority number 1.i agree with this, ididnt want to go all gloomy,
would you agree to "being mediocre" and that is where JJ likes to keep us, Sports shows talking about us, relevant enough to talk but not bottom feeders?
He has a system. A standard operating procedure that he does not deviate from. Because it achieves what you described. The only time in the last dozen years he's deviated from this was the Cooper trade. But that was only to avoid being a bottom feeder. It was a move out of desperation, not a move to be a contender.
