Werder:Cowboys better fear everybody if they continue to play like they have

Werder: Fear the Giants because of their pass rush

Werder: Skins have won at Texas Stadium and pushed them earlier in the season with T.O. scoring all the points

Werder: Skins have confidence that they know the Cowboys pretty well

Mosley: Tony Romo's thumb?

Werder: I am skeptical of anything Wade Phillips because he doesn't seem very forthcoming (he was kind of saying Wade was probably not being honest about his injury)

Werder: He seems to have lost some accuracy and also has lost Terrell Owens. Something seems to be not right with him. Not sure if it is his footwork or mechanics, which is something the coaches were concerned with at some point in Romo's career

Mosley: Worried about Phillips approach with this team?

Werder: His method are going to be questioned because of past decemebers. Phillips doesn't have the track record that his team will be fine in the Playoffs. I think he has alot to coach for and his Playoff Record is going to come under scrutiny and if T.O. is not there, Romo may struggle and questions are going to have to be asked

Scruggs: Garrett?

Werder: When you are good, you lose people. They lost coaches last year. Jerry Jones brought Garrett here to be the next coach. If Phillips loses in the 1st round or earlier than Jerry thinks, what does Jerry do. We have seen Jerry get rid of a coach after 2 Super Bowls, so nothing would be certain.

Werder: We know Jerry is committed to winning. Where this team is, seems to be best analyzed by Jerry, based on his comments. Jerry may have narrowly chose Wade over Garrett so if they lose earlier than Jerry thinks they should, then Jerry Jones will have to make a big decision.

When you're good you lose people. But we should fear everyone because we're not that good.

Matt Mosley is the biggest "Garrett for HC in 2008" Cheerleader on the radio.

Not saying that there is anything wrong with it, but it is extremely annoying.

I think he means in terms of the 13-3 Record in the Regular Season.

So, if the offense stumbles - becauseTO is injured, Romo has a thumb injury and has developed bad mechanics - and if Dallas loses, then it's Wade's fault. And in that case, Jones will likely decide to hire Garrett - the coordinator of the collapsed offense - to replace Phillips, because Phillps has never won a playoff game as a head coach - which seemingly would not be comparable to Garrett's 0-1 playoff track record as a coach, that is, if Dallas loses this upcoming playoff game.

WOW! It's great to know these mediots are so insightful and consistent!

It'd be pretty dumb to fire a coach that went 13-3 in order to promote a guy that has never done it before.

I think Garrett has real promise, but I think he needs another year or two first. I hope he realizes this too.

Let's look a little closer at the Voice of Doom's analysis...

Like the last two times we played them?

Werder: Skins have won at Texas Stadium and pushed them earlier in the season with T.O. scoring all the points

So one of our best players scored all the points... So what?

Werder: Skins have confidence that they know the Cowboys pretty well

Don't we know them, too?

Mosley: Tony Romo's thumb?

Werder: I am skeptical of anything Wade Phillips because he doesn't seem very forthcoming (he was kind of saying Wade was probably not being honest about his injury)

Yep, media darlings Belichick and Parcells are 100% forthcoming about injuries.

Werder: He seems to have lost some accuracy and also has lost Terrell Owens. Something seems to be not right with him. Not sure if it is his footwork or mechanics, which is something the coaches were concerned with at some point in Romo's career

Yes, losing your best WR makes you look worse. Is that unique to us?

And Romo's mechanics needed work when he first got here. That is relevant four years later, how?

Mosley: Worried about Phillips approach with this team?

Werder: His method are going to be questioned because of past decemebers.

Yes, past years here have a lot to do with Wade.

Phillips doesn't have the track record that his team will be fine in the Playoffs.

Neither did Jimmy Johnson or Troy Aikman in 1992.

I think he has alot to coach for and his Playoff Record is going to come under scrutiny and if T.O. is not there, Romo may struggle and questions are going to have to be asked

If T.O. isn't there, of course we'll be worse. Think Brady wouldn't look worse with Moss out?

Scruggs: Garrett?

Werder: When you are good, you lose people. They lost coaches last year. Jerry Jones brought Garrett here to be the next coach. Never mind that Jimmy himself has said he was ready to leave when he did.

So now we on shaky ground...LOL...after a lost. Dallas may not have played well the last couple of weeks, but we have won the game we were suppose to. All it takes is one big win then Dallas is the team to beat in the NFC again. The media is really a trip..:lmao2:

Two years ago.

I'm sure your next question is going to be "How is that at all relevant?"

And for that I have no answer.

gibbs is 1-3 since returning at texas stadium. The one win was a miracle.

Eli manning is 1-2 at Texas Stadium. Coughlin as there coach is 2-2 at the stadium.

Jon gruden as a head coach is 1-1 against us in our stadium and 3-1 all time against us.

Ed Werder's got something negative to say about the Cowboys? I can't believe it. Has he ever said anything positive?
Why would the Cowboys be nervous about the Giant pass rush? They couldn't sniff Romo in 8 quarters of play and "held" the Cowboys to 76 points.

Fellas, I may or may not have made a mistake on the "Texas Stadium" comment from Werder.

I think he said something along the lines of "They were very competitive with the Cowboys this year at TS".

Sorry for the mixup but I think I misquoted Werder.
