BL:I enjoyed your column today, cant usually say that, I read wilbons column and was taken aback because of what he said, he said the perception is a bigger deal than the reality of it. Its not a big deal, it is now being called yoko romo. Bottom line is if romo plays well, every owner will send their qb to mexico for a few days!! When Dave Campo went to sea world he was ridiculed, mike shanahan takes the broncos on a fly fishing trip and it was viewed as team building and comraderie, take elway there and its ok cause he performs, but it is not ok with carter...


RG: People think tony has gone Hollywood. Its his own time though what are people supposed to think?

BL: The fans think she is causing him to play bad. I think it is good for Tony to get away, it was probably great for these guys to get away. If you win anything you do its the right thing to do, if you lose its not. Tampa rested everyone down the stretch and the giants played the pats hard.

yeah i had to send them a text on that. crazy leave the guy alone. if its Wednesday and hes out getting hammered with carpenter and his girlfriend and witten maybe freak out but i think this is a little over blown .

Romo is starting to remind me of Joe Willy. I hope he plays like him.

Wade told the players after the last practice before giving them time off to go relax and not think about football. Romo did just that. This team will be ready as will Romo. The wrost pressure you can have is the pressure you put on yourself. Getting away from it for a couple days was the right thing to do. It beat the hell out of sitting around waiting

Most of the people who are looking into Romo's personal life as if he is supposed eat and sleep football 24/7 and have no personal life should set the example and not spend anytime with their families and friends until the season is over.

I suppose its the QB vs TE thing mostly, and its Witten's wife vs Romo's girlfriend, and made worse by the fact that it is celebrity Jessica Simpson.

It's funny how the media and most fans view players like they're not people. The majority of their lives are spent studying, training, practicing and playing football. I bet it's a very draining process and can make it especially hard for personal relationships.

What's wrong with a guy going on a few days vacation with his girlfriend and his teammate?

If anything, Romo was able to get away from all the ignorant media around Valley Ranch for a few days.

What does it matter what they do on with the 3 days off Wade gave the team? Wade gave the team the time off for a reason, the media seems to be trying to find any little excuse they can to lay into Romo and TO. Im getting tired of it.
