So... the person entered the apartment and as Sean was about to come out of the bedroom area.. already opening one door and as he was about to open another?...are there two doors to get from the bedroom to the main part of the house?... that door gets kicked in and he get shot and they flee..

or

They kick in the door to gain entry.. and then see Sean and shoot and run?.. but this was before he opened some other door?

.. umm.. I'm really confused... if this was an interior door.. it would not be locked and they would not need to kick it in..

.. but they supposedly break in.. wake up Sean... and then kick in another door and shoot twice and then just leave without taking anything or seeing if anyone else is there as a witness?... and who breaks into a house to steal property with their gun ready to fire?.. kicking in doors?

Also.. I'm guessing this isn't a tiny house.. they just ended up in the right bedroom on dumb luck?..within the first minute of being in the house? and no one called the police when they heard the break-in.. only after the shooting?...

Hopefully the police can explain it better.. because it's a little fuzzy right now..

Or the intruder was very familiar with the House.

If I am not mistaken, I believe his house broken into about 8 days prior to this event.

I still think it wasn't random. This could be a strange story before it's all said and done...

This was my first thought as well. I unfortunately also think there's going to be a lot of crawfishing on the outpouring of sanctimonious tributes that have spread like wildfire the last 36 hours.

I too believe this wasn't a random act of violence but I guess we'll have to wait and see how this investion unfolds. Right now, there are way too many questions without the plausible answers and I'm not so sure if all the questions are answered anytime soon.

I heard the lawyer interviewed on CNN and I thought he said Taylor and his girlfriend heard the noise and Sean grabbed the machete and got up and locked the bedroom door. Then the perpetrator(s) busted through the bedroom door and shot him.

It seems to me that the prior burglary in which the perpetrator(s) went through his things and left a knife on his bed, was a clear attempt to threaten Taylor and signal to him that someone was out to get him.

I hate to say it but I think we are going to hear it was a revenge hit for something Taylor was involved in.

I also thing this story is strange. Nothing was stolen, I think. Why would they say that they cut the phone lines? This isn't like 15 years ago where people didn't have cell phones. I don't think the burglar is that dumb to waste his time to cut the LAN line. I think there is more to this story...

Many alarm systems run thru the lan line --burglars cut phone lines all the time

alot of this still makes no sense. How can the girlfriend identify the killer if she is under the sheets holding her baby....plus the intruder never enters the room to be properly identified. Secondly...how many bedroom door ways does this place have? Sounds like a cascade of doorways in this place.

Exactly. This story is going to get very strange.

Such a waste of a talented young man. Just a reminder to us that life, sometimes, isn't fair...

I agree. The whole deal with the knife left on the pillow a week ago just sounds weird. I would guess it is someone that knows him and has a vendetta against him for some reason.
