I'm sorry but we're dealing with a bunch of scrubs here.

We're so excited for our running backs and our tight ends, and maybe we should be... but passing offense offense should go through receivers.

Our backup linemen couldn't be backups in the arena league. They are scrubs.

What do these positions have in common? We don't draft them, or we at least don't draft them well.

Its time to stop drafting tight ends, defensive ends, and linebackers in the first and second round, and get some offensive linemen and receivers.

The points are valid...we don't do well in these areas. Perhaps people are tired of discussing the issue (see animation below).

I would hope that Jerry hires some new people to address this weak area. He actually hired a new special teams coach, so maybe he isn't entirely brain dead...

So you want to waste first and second round picks? That doesnt make any sense at all...

Wrong...

There's nothing at all wrong with our WRs, our first four are Williams, Crayton, Austin and Hurd, and that's an above-average group... I also have high hopes for Ogletree, I think he could be a good one...

I'm not worried at all about our receivers...

I'm also not worried about our STARTING offensive line... I will meet you somewhere in the middle, and agree that our backup offensive linemen are a serious problem...

But to state that our entire receiver corps, and our offensive line, is a "bunch of scrubs" is quite ridiculous... or at the very least, a serious overstatement...

refering to the backup oline...

and hurd, crayton, austin, stanback... thats a group of scrubs man...

and thats what happens if you get all your receivers undrafted or 7th rounders... they seem good because thats all you have... but they struggle mightily when it comes time to show up.

It is if the name is Jacob Rogers, and your HC refuses to listen to team scouts and other personnel people.

OL and WR are the two positions best suited for free agency. I'd rather plug any holes in those spots with proven vets than using high picks due to the high bust rate. That doesn't mean I wouldn't ever draft an OL or WR but it would have to be someone who has slipped into the 3rd-7th round and I feel has the potential to develop and not be counted on to play right away. If you need help right away at OL or WR, free agency is the way to go.
